For cheap high quality matcha buy this one!
Wanted to buy a good ceremonial grade matcha that isn't too expensive and this was it. It is taking me awhile to get the ratio right but 1 1/2 teaspoons seems like a good amount for matcha lattes. I did a lot of research prior and found that this matcha tastes good and is high quality at an affordable price. I was between this matcha and Naoki, but reviews on Youtube recommended Kiyo. I do not use the traditional equipment, just a handheld sifter and an empty Talenti tub as a shaker- no clumps at all, just little spec of matcha. This matcha also gives an energy boosts. Definitely worth the price because good quality matcha won't be available at a cheaper value. Buying this again for sure.

Good for the price
Reminds me of ippodo sayaka with a more umami (salty/seaweedy) and astringent (powdery/chalky) profile. For the price it isn’t bad but it’s definitely more grainy than I’d like it to be.

DON"T HESITATE JUST GET IT!! CLASSIC GRADE FTW
this was surprisingly delicious. It stood up to milk so well, and perfect for lattes. The color is absolutely bright green, which really surprised me given the price point for 40 grams and its availability!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Kiyo Classic Grade 100g Review
I have been drinking matcha TEA (Americano) for a while now to cut back on sugar and dairy. I have also tried various brands including Ippudo, Naoki, Marukyu Koyamaen, and more (100g+). No matter what temperature I try to mix Kiyo with, the matcha tastes like grass water. Flavor is strong but not pleasant. The matcha itself is a dull green color but gets lighter after whisking. Overall not great and is probably the worst matcha I’ve had out of the 4-5 I have tried. If you can’t get the Japanese matcha I would just go with the Naoki Organic Spring First Harvest on Amazon for the best value.

Smooth and not bitter
Delicious and affordable. I'm able to get a smooth consistency with this matcha and personally I don't find it too bitter. It's been so hard to find quality matcha because of the shortage but this is easily my go-to matcha from Amazon.
