Much better than a standard on off valve
Perfect for the momentary "on/off"I have an on off valve on the end of all my hoses. When I am doing anything that requires short blasts of water from a jet like the one pictured, I need to use two hands with a standard hose valve. All the garden sprayers I have ever tried that come with a stream setting are just toys compared to this mini fire hose end.Glad to have this Thumb Valve. My hose is more like a compressed air blower now, but with water! If you want to just water plants, use a garden sprayer.
