Cobra Golf 2019 F9 Men's Speedback Driver (Black/Yellow)

Disclaimer I am a weekend hack and not a pro or tournament type player.I looked around at a lot of YouTube breakdowns of drivers, researched a lot of online pga pros, and read what I could find for about 2 months and all of that led me straight to this driver.This driver out of the box has a great feel I was coming from a box set driver that had a stiff shaft and huge face that was adequate but really made golf not so fun when I just sliced into the woods most holes.I have tested this thing out and I can say it may be the lighter helium HST 50 shaft suits my swing speed (slower) than the driver I used previously, but this thing feels great! Sound is on par with any driver you’ll find. The milled face intrigued me as it was unique to any products I had researched. This may have been an impulse buy but I can see myself using this for 10 years easily. Golf tech is relatively the same so getting a driver like this at the price gives a weekend hack the tool he needs to get the job done and enjoy it in style. I love the style too. A lot of golf purists don’t like the yellow but I like the freshness of it.You get in this package:Weights (attached already) , leather cobra head cover , adjustment tool to change weights and degrees, and driver of course. Also there is a sensor that tracks your drives through an app called ARCCOS (cobra connect) that is built in to the top of the club which if you are trying to stat. track could be a plus as it is a free service and is already attached to the club upon delivery. I am so happy I decided to finally buy this club.I only heard one quarrel about this club from a guy at the range who said the carbon material on the club face around it’s edges CAN SOMETIMES chip if you hit it just right but this is MERELY COSMETIC as a flaw and does not effect performance according to a PGA guy he inquired with.

Haven't carried a driver in years... I was hitting my 2W as far as my driver 205-220 but much straighter. With my old driver I was getting those distances but far right or far left, never straight (or even close)...So i just figured, to heck with it, i just won't carry a driver...After watching Rick Shiels review of the Cobra F9 Speedback, I decided what the heck - if it doesn't work right for me, I can just send it back. Ordered with the Helium UST shaft w/Senior (Lite) flex...Well, it has earned a spot in my bag... Taking it to the range, the first few shots were a little errant and was thinking "well, maybe it's not for me"... but a few shots later after slowing down, taking my time and not try to murder the ball, li and behold 240+ yard drives that were pretty darn straight with a nice little draw... I did hit a few fades. But not that big banana slice I had with my old driver...A couple days later on the course, 10 out of 14 fairways hit... I'm sold..

I recently decided to replace my old driver, but did not want to spend a 1/2 mortgage to get one. I am a very recreational, high handicap golfer. I just took this onto the course for the first time and I was able to carry this club 240-250 yards consistently. It also goes VERY straight. Both of these were true even when I did not hit the center of the club. I have not played with the adjustability at all, but there are a lot of options for higher loft and also being able to adjust the weighting and even setting it to prefer a draw. I will experiment with these soon. But, believe everything you hear about this club. It is great. And 1/2 the price of competitors.

A purchased is about a month ago. Was so excited to receive it. Went to the driving range to try it out (still wrap up) I noticed that there was a CHIP on the top edge of the club head. Was very disappointed. But love the this driver, very forgiving.

This is a fantastic piece of equipment...at least it is for me. I just retired a Ping G20 & I always had fade issues with it. Surprisingly enough this Cobra fixed the problem with very little adaptation on my part. I’ve picked up an extra 20 to 40 yards with the heavier of the two weights set in the face slot. This is an extremely forgiving club on miss hits as well. Much like all the reviews you’ve read floating around out there I too can’t recommend this big dog enough. You’ll be impressed & still have a little extra pocket money left in your wallet compared to buying the Ping 410 or the new Callaway Epic (I tried both).

Great driver , very new to golf and wanted something to up my game. I average around 270-290 yards, but with that I didn’t see much difference from my old cheap driver. A big thing I did notice though is I tend to not slice as bad and my golf ball seems to find its way on the fairway more! very pleased with my purchase! If you are looking for a great driver to help you get off the tee and on the fairway then this is the club for you!Great controlDistanceAnd speed!

I liked the club for it's forgiveness on off center shots. However, the grooves in the club, toe end and hosel inside, raveled the surface of the golf ball (no matter what brand or cost) and prevented me from using a ball very long. I can't understand why they put these grooves on the face of a driver and I would not have ordered this club if I had known. Hence the three star; I had to go back to my old cobra driver.

I was at a point where I gave up trying to hit my driver. But, with the Cobra F9, I look forward to hitting it at every hole. Hard to believe what a difference it makes. First time out, for 9 holes, almost all of my drives were in the fairway, with good distance, even though I had not centered the ball on the club face. Highly recommended!
