Great gift for my mother in law who doesn’t get out much. Fun for her to watch

This is so much fun! Very easy to use (as someone who is generally not tech savvy) and looks cute on the window sill. I would definitely give this as a gift in the future.

I received this as a Christmas gift. It was cute at first but I've had nothing but problems with it. I tried a basic, easy growing pathos in it first but it never registered the water correctly and kept asking for more. The plant ended up dying. I have no problems growing plants from cuttings in non-smart pots. I took a break, changed out the soil and tried again with a spider plant, again a super easy plant to grow. Now all it does is ask for 80ml of water. The thing only holds 50ml up to the rim. I've tried taking the plant out, filling it with water, resetting it, nothing will get rid of the screen saying it needs more water. The battery drains super quickly, doesn't even last a few hours, so I have to keep it plugged in. Not too big of a deal but I need an extra long cable to reach it. Pots tethered to a cord are a little cumbersome. Overall, cute idea just wish it worked correctly. It's advertised as a smart pot that can sense plant needs based on the type of plant. In reality it's a teeny tiny planter with a bulky look and a weird, seldomly working screen.

Update seller reached out immediately and replaced item. Very impressed!I got this planter from my son for Christmas. I was so excited. I was just able to get a plant for it because of the winter season. The charge only lasts a day. So, it's charged two times and now will charge no more.If for some reason I can get a question answered or find out why mine's not charging anymore or get a replacement I will change my review.

I have a tendency to kill plants. ...Not on purpose - I guess my thumb just isn't as green as other people's. ;-)Santa brought this gift to my son for Christmas, and he loves it! It was easy to set up the plant/software, and I like how it came with the decorative stones for the top of the plant too! I put the app on my phone (as my son is only 7 and doesn't have one), and it's so neat to see the different plant info (amount of light, water, etc) to check in and see how 'Ivy' is doing! (So far so good!) Plus, the different faces the pot makes is really cute too! I really enjoy this product, I recommend it, and I look forward to seeing more from this company in the future! ❤️

Like other reviews have said, it's small - like really small. Picture is of my hand next to the box and the actual planter doesn't even take up the full box. That being said, I think that makes it the perfect gift (which it is) because no one would think they're getting a good value out of this. It's so cute though and I really think they'll like it, so it's a win for me!

We love Ivy😀 It was super easy to set up and so much fun watching her expressions lol. We just set her up yesterday and planted a mint plant and via the app you can monitor the ambient light, relative humidity, water, etc. or watch the many different expressions. It’s cloudy where we live today so Ivy isn’t happy without the sunlight. I cannot believe I feel bad when she cries lol. But it’s fun and so cute. Hopefully the mint will grow.
