Bought 2 sets of these for Yakima front mount bike racks and towers. They fit perfectly and work smoothly. Now both my racks and cable locks take one key, as well as my towers taking one key. I highly recommend these to anyone looking to replace the locks on their racks and not wanting to pay the expensive cost from the manufacturer. **Side Note: the only extra thing I had to do was go to a Lock Smith to have the cores removed from one of the bike racks. The blank that comes with these only fit these locks.**

I finally purchased these replacement locks for my Yakima Cargo Box, which I picked up for free from a very nice family just before this past summer. The passenger side of my box was locked, the driver’s side unlocked. Thankful it can only be unlocked with the proper key (or picked open with some patience 😉) It wasn’t until I was more than halfway into a 14,000 mile road trip coast to coast and back that I was able to receive the replacement locks and install them. The lock set included everything necessary to replace both locks within 5 minutes of opening the package. Two locks, two keys, the key/tool to remove the old locks, and Bam! The task was complete. Easy to lock, unlock. Although I’ve never had any issues with break-ins or theft, even after parking overnight in many major cities and crime areas, I now enjoy that extra peace of mind, knowing my valuables are that much more safe and secure.

If I could give it no stars i would. Product does not work in Yakima control towers. lock just spins in place. Total waste of money don't bother.

The Yakima cylinders are hard to remove with the extra key. I tried to remove these after I put them in and was not successful. I was happy to see that I had four keys for the four locks. It also had the key to insert the cylinders. ( the one that I couldn’t get the cylinders back out with. ) Also a comment, I didn’t think one key worked, but then I discovered I just had to move the part that was trying to locked and then it moved. If I knew I couldn’t remove the cylinders I would have probably spent more and bought the Yakima locks.

Great fit on my older Yakima racks. Fit the cylinder hold perfectly. A great cost-effective replacement to buying Yakima lock cores.

Not OEM but work just as well, four keyed alike locks and four keys! Installed and function as factory so far. Can’t beat the price!

I just want to reiterate earlier reviews that these things are horrible. The master key will allow you to get the lock into the rack but you won’t be able to get the core out again! The little locking wedge doesn’t retract far enough to allow the core to slight out. And you can’t exert any pressure or leverage using the master key because it so easily slides out of the core. The Yakima brand locks are 100% worth the extra money. After having to drill these junk locks out of my rack I switched to actual SKS cores and they work flawlessly and are easily removed! Save your money and buy something else, unless you like a couple hours of frustration if you want to remove them from your rack.

They work, but there's a bit more free play when turning them than the OE locks. There is also a security issue but I won't promote that here, but if you want better security get a numbered stock lock set.

Locks all worked but one is a little finicky and I broke one of the keys trying to open after installing.
