As a father, husband, and friend, there is so much to be gained from these lessons. Lastly, the format of the book is genius. The story in the first half is engaging and enjoyable to read. Rather then just giving the reader bullet points and then explaining them clinically, the storytelling aspect shows how the techniques and lessons work in a very believable way. In the second half of the book you get the more analytical nuts and bolts of the practices and beliefs. Put together into one cohesive book it makes for something that is both fun to read and easy to remember and apply. If you consider yourself a leader in any way; at work, at school, at home, on a sports team, or a foreman on a job site, do yourself a favor and read this book. It will change your life for the better, and it will make the people around you better for your presence.

I have to say this is one of the best books I’ve ever read on business leadership. I’m a second generation hvac business owner, and this book completely resonates with me. The 5 pillars in the book are like gold to lead any company. They are simple and straightforward, yet very powerful and perfectly align with a culture and system anyone can use to lead their team to success. It’s a very common sense approach, that will absolutely bring about a more streamlined and efficient direction. I highly recommend it to anyone trying to better themselves, in order to better their whole company culture!
