Goat Proof
This is a very sturdy and well designed hay rack. It is the second one I've bought in less than a year. The first one is still in good condition despite getting tipped over, head butted, stepped on,and crawled into. I highly recommend this product. It is currently on sale ,cheaper now than a year ago!

Too flimsy for goats
The photos posted here are within two days of receiving the item. As we know, goats will stand on anything, and unfortunately, the metal at the bottom of the feeder is much like the aluminum of a soda pop can. The bolts started to pop out within the first day and by the second day, the bottom was torn.My boyfriend who has owned goats for 30+ years said, “The width of this feeder is too Too narrow for the length which makes it easy to top over and if you have very young animals in lands on them, you’re gonna be having an injured or unalived kid. Also, the screws were not lockable screws and they were coming out within two days. Base is a thin tin, which when they stand on will have their hooves rip right through it and it can slice them open”.I had high hopes for this item based on the reviews that I saw at the time of purchase.Returning, the item was impossible as I had already gotten rid of the box and UPS required a box for return and they did not have a box that would fit.Amazon Customer service was able to help me, although it was a very difficult and very long process to get it taken care of.I don’t like leaving poor reviews, but I do think that it is important for other goat owners to know that this would not be a good option for your goats. We have alpine goats.Unfortunately, one of our baby goats injured underneath this feeder.

Sturdy
Holds a lot of hay. Feeds my three goats, two mini horses and two mini donkeys. Seems to be good quality. We've had it about a year and it's still holding up

Right out of the box
Dented in multiple places, lots of scratches, and missing screws for what I paid for this it should have arrived in better shape. As it is for goats I will keep it, we will see how it goes together and as you can see some of Screws still there are not in properly. I will post more after assemblingVery easily assembled by one person seems very solid. The sheet metal screws they pot in are loose and stripped I will have to replace as I don't want goats to knock one off and eat it. I didn't take pics but they sent long screws for where the hay feeder meets at the bottom to form the v I found some short bolts for that worked much better, again don't Wana hurt a goat

OK feeder
This feeder is not very sturdy - all the bolts started coming loose - they get lost in the hay and I had to put it back together with tie wraps. Also, the bars have been falling out leaving huge gaps. The spacing on the bars is a little narrow, which makes it hard for them to get to the alfalfa. The troughs don't work great for the alfalfa leaves - the leaves get buried under the sticks, so the sheep don't eat them. There is a lot of waste of alfalfa with this feeder. I ended up buying a sturdier feeder with a flat tray.

This is a game changer!
I have a bunch of Angora goats. They have been wasting at least 50% of the hay I've been feeding them. I bought one of these to try out in my bucks' paddock.I put their beet pulp in the lower part of the feeder, and whenthey finish that, I put a few flakes of hay in the upper part, and they are eating all of it.I'm going to buy at least three more. The price is so reasonable, delivery was super fast and it was easy to put together.

Nope seek others
It dose the job but thats all u can say screws tend to loosen up alot making it wobbly and with no roof on it feed n hay gets soaked if it rains so needs to be kept in a barn not for use in a pasture ive lost alot of feed cause the part that holds the feed has no drainage and retains water the only thing its really good for is hay but then i question that too value for money none ease of assembly is the only plus size is good build quality lacking extremly

Works
Easy to assemble. Great for goats. I put a piece of corrugated tin on top to keep hay dry
