I haven't used it yet, so I can't comment on how well it will work. I am familiar with camping stoves, though, and I see no reason why this will not work as expected if the power fails here. That it comes with a supply of gas is a definite plus.

Great stove if your campsite not so for wild camping being bigger area to put your cooking pot on small to bigger frying pans it’s like a home gas cooker.

We bought this to use at Glastonbury and I have to say it works brilliantly. Very good flame control — very important when buying one of these. The gas bottles that come with the cooker seal perfectly on the cooker and do not emit any smells. The flame element works perfectly even with prolonged use like cooking 36 sausages for a party. The carrying case is also a great addition as once you are done and it has cooled down keeping it in the case keeps it clean and the handle is the perfect size for most hands.

i have one already so decidedto buy this but when come to light it the flame was going up and down not a stable flame like the other one then whent off then reignited it again was doing same so triedanother bottle did the same its ended up in the bin there a little pressure vale at the side ofit that controls the gas sjuppley oversley faultey yes i work with calour gas befor e wanted one to cook other for kettle iin case a power cut like did last week
