Easy install works great simple look

It's pretty accurate until you hit bumpy roads then it jumps all over the place and stays at max temperature until the vehicle is shut off and restarted. Then the same thing happens again. It has to be the actual gauge because resistance sensors rarely fail.

I added one to each cylinder head of my 150 hp Johnson outboard so that I could monitor the water temp on each head individually. These work great for that purpose & have been installed several years. Unfortunately; the mounting trim bezels have corroded & need replacement. My other 2" dash guages (fuel, trim etc) have rubber or aluminum bezels & don't rust.

The sensor on this items was defect and would not read anything other than 104. I tried calling the product support number listed and it was not the correct number, it went to someone’s personal phone who reported Amazon would not fix the phone number. Since this is a two piece install and required soldering for my application I only wanted the sensor replaced but that was not an option.

Lit up for about 20 seconds and that was it, looked good for 20 seconds
