Not what I hoped for
Used it for only a short while and it went through over half of the oil. Pumps a very fine oil mist out in the air during use.

Used pump for new prices
Pump works well but was used and had oil smeared all over the outside of the pump. I paid for a new product so I expect a new product.

I have a more advanced vacuum pump that I use to do things like leak testing (it graphs and monitors the pressure), but I don't always need a bunch of fancy schmancy features like what it has. Sometimes, when I'm just pulling a vacuum (say, degassing some epoxy resin for a pour) this is all I want. I love that it actually comes with some vacuum pump oil (so many don't). Had no problem pulling a good vacuum on my chamber. 5 stars.

Stalled
I followed the directions and added oil, etc. and then I started it. It ran for a few seconds and then turned off. I waited and checked everything. I did it again and the same thing happened. The pressure gauge showed it was starting to pull vacuum before it stalled.

Only pulls to (-14.5) need to be (-30) for HVACR
The media could not be loaded. box package sent was dropped on the fan side one screw broken one bracket broken fan guard. Unit only pulls to a -14.5 needs to be a -30 does not pass the mustard only ran it for five minutes. Yes, it has oil. Not for HVAC/R going back.
