Mold Stain Remover Gel Cleaner Heavy Duty Stain Cleaner for Front Loader Washing Machine Seal, Bathroom Grout, Shower, Caulk - Front Load Washer Cleaning Solution - 7 Fl Oz

Our shower is large annd deep and mold grows on the left corners where the shower head is because air circulation is bad. We have had a mold problem for years due to several showers being taken in there every day, the mold could never dry out. I tried bleach, hydrogen peroxide, every type of toxic mold cleaner and it never went away. But it was nasty! So I tried this stuff. First of all, I followed directions to a t! I placed a fan in my shower to really really dry it out. I took the shower brush and scrubbed the dry mold. Then I cleaned it. I dried the whole shower with a towel and let the fan dry it out fully. Then I put on gloves, a mask (you’ll need it- it smells like chlorine!) and eye protectant (just in case, the gel doesn’t splash but there were times when I was squeezing out the bottle that it “farted” and I was glad I was wearing eye gear). The bottle comes with a nozzle that allows you to target specific areas. There is a cap on the nozzle you have to take off. You also have to open the bottle- it’s a foil cover you peel back. Then you point the nozzle at the mold and gently squeeze for the gel to come out. The only trick is not to “scrape” the gel with the tip while squeezing it out- otherwise it moves to the side of the grout and hollows out where you actually want it to go. It took some trial and error to master just having the tip hover above the grout line and not actually touch it, but when I got it, it was pretty easy!!! Then I went to town following all the horrid grout lines. And there were a lot. I’m talking subway tile. I did not have enough of the gel to do the whole thing, but holy cow! You can see where I didn’t put it!!!! I would tap the bottle upside down to make the gel move to the nozzle to make squeezing easier. I used the entire bottle. After I put the gel on, I let it sit for almost 5 hours. It was amazing. The mold was gone underneath the gel. I took a damp cloth and wiped it and the gel had the consistency of dried candle wax and just fell to the floor. I gathered it up and put it in a trash bag. Then I cleaned my shower and let it dry fully overnight. After the gel dries it still smells like chlorine, but after throwing it away there was no remaining smell. I am impressed!!! You can see the areas that I put the gel so clearly, it looks like new tile. Some tips: 1. dry the shower fully!!!!! If the mold is wet, it won’t work. 2. Don’t let it come in contact with clothes! I had a blob fall on my sweats and I rinsed it with water but it left a little bleached spot. 3. Wear eye gear and disposable gloves. The bottle will fart. 4. When I picked up the dried gel, I just held it in my hand and slipped off my glove inside out, trapping it in my glove and creating a little pocket for it to be easily put in a trash bag. 5. Even the gel can stain! I dropped a dried gel in my rug and it left a tiny bleach mark. 6. Be generous with the gel. The areas I didn’t put a lot or did thin lines had some mold spots that did not fully erase. 7. Let the gel sit for longer than you think. I had black slimy mold and I left it there for almost 5 hours. It’s gone!!!! 8. Trust me. Buy at least 2 bottles. You wont regret it. All in all I am so happy to find this product and am already buying more to finish the grout lines. 100% effective.

Don’t hesitate to buy this product if you have mold/mildew problems. I have to admit I was skeptical about this product. My shower has a very small area of clear silicone caulk that I have to remove due to mildew about every six months or so. I tried this product on it and it WORKS! It did require a second application, but WOW! It also removed mildew/mold from the grout. I’m amazed and will keep a bottle of this from now on. No odors noted. I did use gloves when using it. The nozzle is helpful to apply.

The caulk lining in our shower seemed to always end up with mold growing on it. I've tried before to clean it manually with some abrasive, but it often just leaves more grooves for mold to grow in. I've also tried some other cleaning solutions but they left a super strong odor due to them being spray. So, my previous solution to this whole mess was to rip up the caulk every 6-12 months and replace it - which is a pain in the butt! I found this product through an ad on Instagram and thought I would try it. Well, it worked out great! It is easy enough to just shake and lay it down on the affected area. Forget about it for a while, then come back and wipe it off. The mold went right with it, saving me from a few hours of painful cleaning. There was a slight smell to this since it does contain some amount of cleaning solution, but the form factor of gel really reduces it. Not to mention that it was under $15 when I bought it and it seems like I have a few uses worth in the bottle. It seems to be worth the price.

I have now used this product in a few different areas in my house and it's AMAZING at completely destroying stubborn mold/mildew. However, the plastic bottle the product itself is in seems to be an entirely different matter altogether. Just yesterday I noticed a little spot in my shower that was black so I thought hm... let me try this stuff on it to see if it can help, and when I turned the cap to open it, the top fell off in my hand - I didn't use a lot of force either. If you see the photos, the bottom half of the cap is still on the bottle, but the dispensing part came off completely detached - not sure if it was either just weak to begin with or had some kind of reaction due to exposure to the product. The gel itself is great and works exactly as advertised, but I've never had this happen to the packaging on a product before, which is too bad because I really love it and have since thrown it away because I don't know how I'd store it without the product drying out completely. It does have a very strong bleach scent for anybody who has a sensitive nose, so perhaps use it with that in mind or in a place you can ventilate.

I had some stubborn mildew/mold in my walk-in shower that I could not get rid of no matter what product I used or how hard I scrubbed...and then I bought ACTIVE. I am happy to report that this product ABSOLUTELY DOES WHAT IT CLAIMS TO DO. It completely got rid of all discoloration and restored my grout and caulk to the original colors. The best part is it was so EASY. You have to use the product on your surface when it is completely dry, so I showered in the morning, and before I went to bed later that night, I applied the product along the perimeter of my shower floor. When I woke up, I simply removed the product with a sponge and brush and that was it. If you're tired of trying products that don't live up to the hype, I highly recommend you try ACTIVE.

This product truly works! It goes on as a gel and wipes off easily. It comes off as a clear gel. I used it on grout lines AND moldy caulk. Both worked perfectly. I left it overnight and in the morning the area was pristine, bright white. It smells like a cleaning product as it works so maybe open a window or put your fan on. The smell isn’t too strong, though. I am going to buy more and see if this company sells a product I can clean my entire stall shower with. Excellent product! It definitely works!

Worked amazingly and took off all the black mold in the rubber seal around the old washing machine. The instructions were straightforward and easy to understand. I did two rounds on some harder areas but most only required one, so amazing value for money. It did smell of bleach but not any more than expected, and this was easily dispersed with a cracked window and by washing the area after. The only thing I'd note is that squeezing the bottle to get product out after the first half was gone was really difficult and I don't know that anyone without a significant amount of grip strength would have had an easier time. I ended up squishing the product out onto a plate and then using gloves fingers to wipe it on after a point. To be clear: there was loads of product but if you're squeezing for something where the bottle as to face up (as I did getting the top inside of the rubber seal), your hand will be aching for hours.

I almost gave up on the mold stains in the shower grouting. The black mold stains wouldn't go away even with constant brushing. Good thing i tried this product. After several applications, the grout looks new again. All you need is patience.

I bought a house and the washer was disgusting full of mold . This product almost cleared it off completaly .I was not able able to leave it in long enough but even after that the rubber seal has clear spots and some lighter spots and I am ok with that . It was heavy duty black mold .I am positive if I do it few more times it will be completaly removed.

I purchased this to clean the door seal of a washing machine we inherited with a house purchase. The door seal had seen better days and was quite discoloured. I was hoping this would kill the visible mould lining the seal and return it to its intended grey colour. Applying the gel was straight forward - though it’s worth noting you do need a Stanley knife (or similar) to cut the nozzle of the bottle. There was no overpowering smell and It was incredibly thick which was great for ensuring it stuck to the surface I was applying it to, but it did mean I ended up using more than I probably needed to had it spread a little more. That said, there’s plenty for two applications in one bottle since it’s a good size. I left the gel to work for three hours. It worked well, removing the black mould and only leaving a slight discolouration in its place. I imagine it would be completely cleared after a second application (or perhaps if I’d allowed it to work a little longer). Clean up was relatively straight forward, but you will need plenty of damp and cloths to get it removed fully. Overall, I’d say it’s good value for money.

Amazing, worked within 2 hours of putting it on! but it did run down with gravity so missed some, any tips on how to make it stick even veritcally would be much appreciated 😊
