Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend steering wheel for any serious car use, as it’s a bit flimsy. It kind of feels like if you’ve got any crashes steering wheel with the bend in half and End up Causing an issue. It doesn’t seem to have any strength or rigidity in it and is flexible as soon as you fit it and push against one top or bottom of the steering wheel. Just doesn’t seem to be sturdy enough materials. For something small like a go-kart or a kit it might be fine, however anything of any serious daily use or drift use et cetera I wouldn’t be wanting this in my car.

I wanted to swap my steering wheel as the old one was looking well past its prime. Not needing any other wheel-mounted controls I opted for this as it has a horn which is all I really need. The steering wheel comes very simply packaged in a cardboard box. The grip can best be described as plastic - nowhere near vinyl or leather in my opinion. It does have a couple of small indentations where your thumbs can sit which gives a very nice feel to holding the wheel. This comes supplied with a hex key for the centre bolts and also with a wire connector for connecting up the horn to your car's electrical circuit. Very basic but does the job as required.
