My 4 grandsons love this toy. Works great !! Age 12 and under

7 Y/O Grandson was collecting loose change around the house and doing extra chores, because he wanted to buy a blue boat. Gathered his money's and ordered a blue boat. Boat was on track as calculated, and delivered on time. Charged battery, and placed boat in corner of swimming pool. When he got home from school and jumped in pool; I navigated boat from inside house. when he swamps blue boat he yelled out " Papa you got me a blue boat " Few days later I was cleaning out my garage!! Love and behold, I found two boats, red and a blue I purchased in 2019. Thank you amazon.

I don't understand...this comes with a rechargeable battery, but when you open the cover, it also has a spot for 3 additional 1.5V AA batteries. When you put those batteries in, they do not fill the space? Making this completely inoperable. Please help. I bought this as an Easter gift, but it is not workable at this point

great for kids from 5 yrs -85 yrs Kids were able to maneuver them and they seem sturdy I got three all in the same color and thought they would come in the 3 different colors. We just labeled them on top of bow with a marker. A little smaller than anticipated

First of all, I didn't expect a lot from this inexpensive remote control boat, but I was mildly surprised with what we received. Overall happy. Purchased this for my 5 year old grandson to use in our pool. He loves it. It’s not too fast and the controls are easy to figure out. Two forward/off/backwards controls, one for each prop, allow the user to go straight or turn left and right. Add the tiny rudder (pushes in to a hole) and you can make it easy to go in continuous circles. For the money, it’s worth it. It’s slow enough for our above ground pool but still fast enough to keep young kids interested. However some things to be aware of: 1. Meant for small calm bodies of water (50 feet max?) we have an above ground pool and when the kids use it, they have to stay still in the water to avoid capsizing it. 2. There are no on/off switches for the controller or the boat so you should unscrew the covers on the boat and the remote and remove batteries after each use to keep from draining the batteries. To stop the boat, just release the controls. 3. Nothing is completely water sealed. Dunk or capsize the boat, or drop the remote on water and water WILL eventually get in. Be prepared to dry the boat (remove cover and battery, then shake shake shake) after a day of use. 4. TINY screws hold the covers in place. Be prepared with a little screw driver (not included) to install/remove the batteries. DON’T LOSE THE SCREWS! 5. Charging the boat battery requires removal and attachment to USB-A type charger (not included). Cable from the battery to a charger is included. The remote runs on two AA batteries, not included. Again, for a little bit of fun, for however long it lasts, it’s worth it. I paid $20.79 for mine. So far we've gotten two days out of ours and should be good for at least a couple more.

I loved it, my kid loved it but there is no off switch either for the remote or the boat. To remove the batteries you need a screwdriver. Could have been perfect but it was not.

Bought it as a gag gift and it was thoroughly loved.

For the price, this is great. Doesn’t go the fastest 😂 but my 5 year old nephew loved it. Worked great on our local boat pond, was easy for my nephew to control and had the best time with it.

Super little boat for the money! Ordered one each for the grandkids, and they spent a happy half hour on the flood waters. The boats seem pretty watertight, and get up quite a lick on the water. A little fiddly to charge and set up, and you need two AA batteries per remote control, but overall terrific value for money.
