I've been trying to find an easy solution between my gaming pc (AMD 5950x with 3080 ti) and my macbook pro m1 laptop, where I do not need to unplug the displayport on my Samsung Neo G9 49" OLED to switch between the two.With this switch I just push a button now to switch between the two different inputs and get a super cripsy 5120x1440 in 240hz for both my PC and Macbook Pro.I'm using a usb-c lightning cable to display port for my macbook pro, and a displayport 2.1 to displayport for my PC and it works perfectly.Where there are bad reviews saying this doesn't work, it works fine for me. I would guess the reason why they're having issues is because of their cables.Get some good cables that work otherwise this displayport switch is useless.

The switch works as it should. Pressing the button changes the input. It does require a 5v power source which is a bit of a bummer. I gave 4 stars because it works as it should but the need for it's own power is worth one star off for the potential for inconvenience.

I was not able to get this DP switch to output a signal. I tried with three computers, 2 3090 and 1 3080 GPUs, and with about $50 in new high quality DP cables.

This display port switch works well with my 4K displays. The switch provides nearly instantaneous switching from input to input. There are no issues with the display output to my monitor.The size is small taking up very little desktop room.A simple design that works well.

Tried this switch at 4K/120 and it does not work. Returned.

I ordered this to switch a monitor between my gaming PC and streaming PC in my studio.✅ It's very small and compact.✅ Switches between 2 sources with a simple click.✅ Has LED indicators to show which source is selected at a glance.❌ I always try to add a negative in every product review. The negative here is that the switch is so light and compact, that it won't stay put unless it's mounted to something. I mounted it to the wall under the monitor with mounting tape. I will be designing and printing a mount for it. I'm not removing a star for this as it works as advertised.
