The Digital Alarm Clock is good overall, other than the numbers are to light to see from a distance of about 8 to 10 feet. The clock's number do stand out when you press the illumination button. The clock is battery operated and a good for a backup traveling clock. Overall the clock is ok, I gave to it my son for his dorm room as a backup to his phone.

The beeping is way too loud and the back light is way too bright for the night time. I can’t find a way to dim it and turn the beeping off. Not good if you want it in your bedroom. Other than that, the display is big enough to see all the information especially temperature and humidity. I wish the time display is larger like another model of Hito I have. If you want something for your bedroom, this (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00R64PG9S/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) might be a better option.Update: Customer care was very helpful in trying to resolve this problem and issued a refund.

I really like having all the information in one place. I full time in my RV so it’s very important for me to know if the humidity level is high inside my rig to avoid having mold. I also like that the light is optional so it’s not blaring at me at night while I sleep, but I can just lightly click it and the face is illuminated long enough to view all the information. I like having the actual day and date on it. We don’t realize how often we ask ourselves what day it is. Overall, this little device is perfect. All the information you need in one small unit.

Perhaps it states this in the description, but I was not at all aware that the backlight, only stays on for 8 seconds and there is no option to make it permanent. This was one of the main reasons that I bought this particular piece. The temp is accurate, but hard to see with no light (that you have to turn on from the back of the unit).UPDATE: Customer service contacted me to resolve my concerns and was a pleasure to work with.

Good product. Works well and does what it says. The only thing is in order to see the display at night you have to press the light button that stays on for 8 secs.

cons:-blue night light advertised actually is just a button that lights the screen for about 5 seconds then turns off, cant stay on which means you cant read what it says without room lit up-it makes a loud beep noise every time temperature or humidity level changes by 1, which wakes me up at night and can't be disabled-i found setting up the wake up alarm to be confusing, can't configure it easily

I've got this clock in 2 days and i like it. The clock is accurate and looks nice. I asked Riley a few questions about this itemand every time he responded to me in minutes.Riley is one of the best sellers i've ever met. I bought this primarily to check humidity. The clock works. The date works. The temperature works. The humidity read out is off by 8 degrees. So it is pretty much worthless. UPDATE: seller was kind enough to replace the item at no charge and it gives a humidity reading which is closer to being accurate than the first one.
