The quality is first rate with a lovely texture to paint work. It was surprisingly easy to put together with the various screws, nuts and washers in a plastic sheet. Once it was put together it feels very sturdy and on its first trial run last night it did a good job on the chicken, sausages and lamb chops. It is a simple but effective design with a huge cooking area and the tray at the front is handy for plates and cooking implements. Will try out the smoker shortly but pleased with barbecue.

Actual product absolutely fine - great construction, easy to build. Not used yet - but looks great value for the money. HOWEVER I am disgusted at DPD who delivered the order. The agreed date was Tuesday, which was fine and I arranged to work from home to take safe delivery. However with no warning - it arrived on the previous Saturday when I was away for the weekend. Left in full view on my doorstep, and not in my ‘safe place’. Luckily a neighbour spotted it, and took it in for me. I was fuming …

Very easy to assemble, my fella did it alone in about half an hour, I did offer help but one person is all that's really needed. It's sturdy, gets hot fast and stays hot, it maintained 200c the entire BBQ, and we started around 3:15 and didn't finish til gone 7. I love it has two separate areas making it versatile and multi functional, especially if your doing a BBQ for vegetarians as well as meat eaters, you can easily keep veggies and meats apart. The design is simple but smart. I'm so glad I read reviews on several BBQs and settled on this one. We are already planning the next BBQ

Excellent value for money. Big enough to host a bbq and great for everyday use. Haven't smoked any meat yet but bbq works a treat.

Easy to put together . Quality feel once built. It is easy to move around. Love the separate section which I used for the vegetarian family members at. BBQ which was much easier than juggling one grill.The warming shelf was excellent and did its job. First bbq I didn’t burn everything . I was surprised the temperature it got to closing the lid, and the control the vent dials gave.Best point is that it was very easy to clean.Excellent bbq would recommend it. I cooked on it for 3 then 9 of us and could have done more , obviously it was not cooking everything for the 9 but the warming rack helped.

I’d recommend two people for setup, as on my own, it took me nearly two hours—far longer than the 50 minutes stated, and I found that I needed to balance parts on my fence and outdoor furniture in order to put them together. You’ll need two different screwdrivers and ideally a small spanner. Despite being confident with assembly projects, I had to consult the internet multiple times due to unclear instructions.* Cleaning the firebox is a major design flaw. Removing ash was extremely difficult—even with a child-sized dustpan and brush. I had to unscrew the firebox to empty it. A hook-and-lock system would make cleaning much easier.* I noticed that some of the black coating inside the main barrel had already worn off after just one use. While I don’t expect it to stay pristine, I was surprised by how used it looked so quickly.Final Thoughts:I’ve used the BBQ once as a smoker and enjoyed the learning process. On my first attempt, I smoked a whole chicken, sausages, and a baked potato. The sausages and potato turned out great. The chicken meat was tasty and smoky flavoured, but the skin absorbed a bitter taste and didn’t crisp up—definitely user error, using the wrong wood and not being able to maintain the temperature and airflow correctly. One side of the chicken was undercooked, so turning it midway would have helped. Therefore some basic starter tips/recipes —like wood types, temperature control, and airflow maintenance—would have been helpful to come in the box.Due to the challenging assembly, limited guidance, and some design flaws, I don’t believe this product deserves a full 5-star rating. However, I would still recommend it overall. The 3-star rating reflects its spacious BBQ area, shelf and storage, along with smoking capability and the enjoyable opportunity to explore a new style of cooking.
