Neck pain relieved
I use this neck adjuster to help my neck pain due to bad posture. It is easy to wear it on by myself and adjust the positions. So far so good. I feel it helps after wearing 10-15 minutes, 3-5 times a week. Recommended!

So glad I found this
After a painful incident - (not and accident) I was recommended a cervical fusion surgery over 10 years ago and another pain management doctor suggested PT with traction at that time. I went with the latter and haven't had an issue other than a stiff neck once in a while with some bad pain- but knowing what the reaction did for me, makes me remember the instant relief and correction I would get after a few days of 10 minutes of the stretch. I had another bout not long ago and found this device. 2 days after getting it and wearing it I felt back to my norm again. Granted- this isn't a comfortable device- but it DID 100% fix my pain having had the experience of having had traction before and having some knowledge of knowing what I might need. I don't think this is for the general "sleeping on a bad pillow in a hotel" still neck- but for anyone who has had a neck injury in the past who has benefited from traction in a PT setting, I'd recommend this device for home use when you need it

could be better
This is a standard medical appliance and like most it could be a lot better. No idea why they can't make a better device when all it would take is some competent engineering. They sell millions of these, could spend a few dollars making it better. I tried other more expensive devices and they were even worse so I am stuck with something that is at least OK. Hope to not need it much longer.

Some Design Flaws
3 design flaws 1 - the front part sits just under the chin, it raises the head through chin area, effectively tilting head backward; the side panels do not go under the mandible just sitting next to the sides of the face, no effective elevation of the head 2 - The unit is not modular design. The front and back parts are linked together via a small flimsy rivet type nut and can be easily broken with frequent twisting the parts while putting it over the head. To put this device over shoulder, one also has to remove eyeglasses and struggle to put it over the head because the big wiggling back part is linked to front part on the left side. Guarantee women with long hair especially an Afro type will have trouble to put this unit over the head. Already suggested the seller to modify the design into 2 separate parts with the left side of the back unit hooking to the left side of the front unit and keep the current right hasp type locking connection 3 - The side support padding is too big pinching earlobes when being raised too high and unable to raise the head upwards because of above #1 flaw Overall, the design concept is good - rasising the lower part with manual screw knobs better than using the inflatable pump design on many common neck stretchers selling on Amazon and it also has a screw type control on the back unit to adjust the width of the head to wear the unit not like most other units using velcro straps to adjust width of the head

Decent job for the price.
Overall, it is not an amazing product but it gets the job done well enough for the price. The device gets uncomfortable at the back of the head if not worn perfectly. The risers are manual so the positions are not as adjustable as a pump or electric riser. Otherwise, the product is good when worn properly and has received some of her tension I have in my neck.

Excellent neck brace
This is an excellent neck brace. It is very firm which is what I need. The 3 adjustment knobs really help in getting the right fit and level of traction desired - the 2 on each side of the jaw area give you the up and down height and the know in the back pulls the entire from piece in to the back for a nice snug fit. The pads are wonderful they are plush and soft and keep your head extremely stable and comfortable. The pads and plastic that fit onto your chest and shoulder are excellent - they are wider then other brands in this category and that really helps displace the brace over the area whereas some other brands are thinner and can cause discomfort on the impacted area where they sit.

RELIEF !
I have been using this as needed for several months. I get migraines and have some neck issues. This does not replace my "over the door" traction / hanger but, it helps immensely and I have used the "over the door" traction once in a dozen times of using this collar. Much easier to store, very light weight, perfect to take camping when there is no door for the other device and, I can sit anywhere and read or what ever with this on. Fairly comfortable for what it is, fit adjustment works great!
