This candle has a pleasant, if somewhat heavy scent, but I have a large family room so no big deal. What I don't like is the wicks submerging after a couple hours. Wicks seem a little feeble/undersized with that much wax.Quick update - after this original post, Pam immediately got in touch with me to make things right.Within a few days I had a brand new candle - with no issues. I even got a card with a personal note! Who does that these days?!Probably the best personalized customer service I've ever experienced!She's now got a customer for life. Thanks Pam!

Im not one to write alot of reviews, however, these DELIGHTFUL, CHRISTMAS.EEEEE candles deserve some serious attention and praise.I had TWO of these candles sitting on our kitchen island....and the fragrant, tree scent filled up our entire home. Even the upstairs loft was screaming out......".hey, look i think ive just become a pine forest."If you would like your home to have that delightful aroma of CHRISTMAS you HAVE to have these candles burning in your home.Oh, i forgot to mention i am a candle JUNKEE, so my nose KNOWS what is delightful and what isnt.Just purchased 4 more So i can burn these thru the new year.You HAVE TO PURCHASE these wonders of the season!!!!!!!!!

I have real pinon wood to compare this too and it doesn't smell like pinon burning in a fireplace which is kind of sweeter. I was looking for something that would emulate the smell of pinon wood burning in a fireplace. This candle smells like other "Christmas" candles like other pine trees and it should be distinct if it is considered pinon why else would you want to buy it?? So if you are looking for true pinon tree / wood burning fireplace type smell, this is not it.

**Update 2/22/19 Pam very graciously gave me another candle to try and it was more successful. I did not trim the wick in the beginning as low as I normally do and this helped it to melt a nice pool so that I did not have any wax wasted. I continued to keep the wick trimmed a bit higher than normally and it has burned very well. As I said before, the scent is good; so real that it tends to make us hungry! :) I especially appreciate how the seller works with her customers. Beautiful hand crafted candle, great scent and lovely re-usable jar.**Although it was suppose to have 2 wicks there was only 1. I waited to burn the candle until I knew I could have several hours to make sure first burn was complete to prevent tunneling. Sadly, these photos were taken after 5 hours and it kept tunneling deeper. At 3 hours I stopped the burn for 1 minute to clean 'soot' from wick and then immediately re-lit so the burn could complete for 5 hours. After the longer burn I had to scrape off a lot of wax to save for later. After cleaning it up and it being nice and even the next day I started burning again and it is tunneling again because it cannot melt the wax, especially now that the jar is widening. The scent is good and it is a pretty jar which I will salvage and re-use but this candle is very overpriced for a tunnel dud. I wish I had had the results some of the other reviews stated but I am very disappointed.

First of all I purchased this candle and I received it yesterday. Here is a picture after it's been burning for 4 and 1/2 hours. As you can see it's tunneling. I am not happy with this candle at all. However it smells delicious. But I will not purchase again from this company.

This is a wonderful candle. I had never purchased a soy-based candle, but I have to admit to being converted! When you blow out the flame the wicks don't leave a horrible stink in the room, something that has always ruined candles for me. I've gotten quite used to lighting it before bed. I'm not sure I believe in aromatherapy, but it certainly smells nice! It took me about 6 weeks to burn most of this candle, and I am re-ordering today. I am also going to try another scent! Very pleased.

For the cost of this tiny candle I was disappointed. After 20 minutes of burn time one wick burned out and I tried to re light it and it kept going out. The fragrance is a Christmas scent not Piñon at all.UPDATE: Customer Service is exceptional with this company, Pam reached out to me immediatly after leaving my review and offered to send another candle, I received it today. I would like to clarify that the scent is lovely it's just not the "New Mexico" Pinon smell I was expecting, that certainly is not the companies fault.

Great fragrance. Long lasting. Bought one as a gift for my sister previously. She loved it and plans to order another.
