IT WORKED! Year before the pandemic, we've been dealing with a slow drain in our old home. We dont have plumber money so we've been putting up with the drain and using a plunger and/or plumr. This year its gotten so bad. Plumr was not working. Plunging stopped working eons ago (I shouldnt be surprised, ignoring small issues turns to big ones) So I've been trying so many brands and so many of their different items. Drano, Green Gobbler, other Plumr types of drain clog liquid. They all werent cutting it. Then in comes CLR. Directions say to use 2oz everyday overnight or when not in use for 7 days. Unfortunately I kept forgetting since tub always had water slowly draining in it or was being used. So i was only able to use it on weekends this month. This week though, the tub completely stopped draining. These past 3 days I've been forgoing a shower and doing the best I could. I was dying for a shower today. About 1/5 of the CLR was all I had, so I poured all of it in the clogged tub and prayed. It did work a lil, after an hour. Just in time for fam member to get ready for work. But drain was still slow. I come back to check for my turn after fam left for work and the drain was back to not draining at all. I later check a second time and see tub is still filled at same level. I broke. Insert frustration, crying inbetween trying to snake and plunger the drain for over an hour. Nothing, still the same amount of water. So I stop to go calm down for another hour and think of game plan to scoop out the water. As I'm about to go get a scoop, I hear a slow light gurgle increase to the most wonderful sound I havent heard in years. THE FAST GLUG GLUG OF DRAINING WATER IN THE BATHROOM TUB. I cried again watching the water quickly drain. Then turned on the faucet at full blast to rinse out the CLR and watched gloriously as the water disappered as quickly as it came out of the faucet. BUY THIS MIRACLE LIQUID. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. AND DONT PROLONG THE DIRECTIONS LIKE I DID. Thank you CLR. I will buy more of this as preventative maintance now for my tub and all other drains in my home.

My mom was happy with this product, which I believe was recommended by her plumber. To help with her septic tank, she also uses one-ply tissue paper.

Please with the quality of the product

I have used other CLR products many times and they were extremely effective. Used this one per instructions and the toilet is still slow to clear. Can’t really say this this does or doesn’t work as my problem still exists but giving CLR the benefit of the doubt maybe the problem isn’t something this product is supposed to solve.

Please ignore all the negative reviews because all of them are about unclogging their pipes, this is a clog preventer. It will over time unclog pipes, but it's intended and labeled use is to add monthly to PREVENT buildup that clogs pipes. If you have calcium buildup use standard CLR, it works great, they ALSO have a clog remover that works quite well..

Waste of money. Doesn't do anything to a clogged drain. Better to use a plunger or liquid plumr

CRL make the best cleaning products for hard to remove stains and buildup, so far I have been using instead of green goblin to maintain my pipes. I use every other night when it can actually clean the pipes. So far no issues and no more funky smells from drains. Highly recommend product, so strong only takes 1/3 of the other for each drain.

I've used this product for quite some time and I find that it does exactly what they tell you it's supposed to do as long as you follow directions you will get excellent results if you don't follow directions then I guess you won't get the desired results that you are expecting which then again that now becomes your fault for not following directions but I find that this is a great product and it's reasonably priced and I will continue to buy it because I've been buying it now for quite some time possibly even years now at this point I use it to clean my cups to get the tea stains out I use it to clean my pot that I heat up my water because of the calcium buildup I've used it in my humidifier that is a small room humidifier to get rid of all the calcium buildup because of the hard water situation causes all that calcium buildup inside it's really a great product and I believe that if you just give it a try and you follow the directions you will see that it works like it says it's supposed to work I have a lot of faith in this product and I will keep buying it
