This is excellent and a game changer for getting in and out of bed after a hip replacement. I’m sure it would also be useful after a knee replacement. My husband was struggling to get in and out of bed after his surgery and a friend who had also had a hip replacement recommended it. It’s so simple and so brilliant.

Sturdy, easy to use. Bought for my mother in law who just had a knee op. Allows her to pull her leg up to the bed and move it more.

Found it a little difficult initially but learnt to use it easily enough after a short period of time. Well made and thought out piece of equipment.

Indispensable for getting in and out of bed after hip surgery. Saves appealing for help constantly and you control the lifting rather than a kind person 'jerking' your leg too fast or slow onto the bed. I've sent mine to my cousin aged 93! who is having hip replacement surgery.

I am awaiting a total knee replacement and was told by the surgeon to buy a leg lifter with a metal rod through the middle. After a bit of research on Amazon, I found this one and everything fitted the bill. I am 5ft 2ins and chose the 91cm one which is amply long enough. It's very well made and everything I was looking for.

I bought this for hip surgery. Tho I only needed for a couple weeks. It helped me get into bed and out of bed. Some have commented that they don't like how flimsy it is and they had to "lasso" their foot. Only the foot strap moves around and though you do have to lasso your foot, it allowed me adjust it to a comfortable position. I liked the different grasp spots as I am short and a loop only at the end would have made it difficult to lift my leg. So this one works for both tall and short people. All in all, I was very glad to have this tool!

This is a handy accessory that really helps with those little things that impact independence. It's well built and super easy to use. The hardest part of the process is putting your foot through the hoop. Once you have it in the hoop it works like a charm.
