Bulky heavy sturdy awesome phone
I love my sturdy phoneOrder this last July or so, unfortunately I did crack the lens on the back camera and moisture in the speaker.. customer service was very easy to deal with and was more than happy to assist getting a replacement. One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had, and one of the best phones I've had in a long time. Battery life lasts about 2 days on average, 3 if I'm not playing The Tower. I love the questions from people.."what kind of phone is that?!"

Rugged phone?
As I am in a big need of a rugged phone, using a walkie Talkie regally I was excited as I found this phone for a great price. All the other phones I have found called rugged with radio was twice or even 3 times as much as this one. As I received the phone my excitement grew, it seemed stable it is heavy, but the fact of not having to carry a radio in one pocket and phone in the other, helped me quickly over come the weight. Phone works great strong flashlight and the radio doesn't just cover the GMRS channels but also the 70 cm band for us radio amatou8rs. and the radio works well. finger print scanner in a good place, easy to handle phone with one hand as you are out in the field. So the question is why am I not giving this phone a top score? The reason is that the description of the phone seems little bit of a stretch from my experience. To start with the battery for example does not live up to "Armor 3W will run heavily at least 4 days" as it says in the description, The phone will run for for about 3 days sometimes it will reach 4 days., That's only 1 more day on a average on any other phone I have had in the last few year. The second issue I have, is if it should be called a rugged phone, as I was up in the mountains, weather was snowing and the temperature was around mid 20-ties I was talking on the phone for quite a while and when I came inside the house the phone suddenly shut down, I thought at first I was out of battery but as I turned the phone back on it was still at 50 percent. Later that day I dropped my phone free fall from 1.2 meter, wood floor. and the screen cracked, not the screen protector the screen, never seen that before from that low of a drop and I have dropped my fair share of phones through the years. In the description Ulefone says that the phone can handle a free fall of at least 1.2 meters, I contacted Ulefone about my experiences thinking that the phone could be a faulty, As they answered they asked a odd question I thought the question was did you drop the phone in water, odd because it says in the description that you could even use the camera under water. Ether way they would not stand by there product just told me that I need to send my phone if I wanted the screen fixed to their service center, and where was the service center not in the US but in China, I need to spend about 35 dollars to send the phone to China then 45 to get it back, and who knows when I would get it back.So in conclusion, I like the phone it definitely filled a need for me during the 2 1/2 months it worked, as a radio and phone but if you are out climbing mountains on a oil rig or on a constructions site this phone might not be as rugged as the description may let you think it is. Customer service may not be the best. As I said I gave the company the chance to switch out the phone if it was a faulty phone version. But they didn't go for that which makes me think they may be stretching the facts a bit in their description, meaning that the phone is not made for the activities they describe unless you are careful of course, and treat the phone as any other phone that may be cheaper.

Overall great phone, with awesome battery life.
This replacemented my ulefone 3w, which I really liked and had no intention of replacing until it got damaged by no fault of its own. My 3w was great and held up to a lot a abuse. This is almost identical to the 3w, just updated. I am with Verizon and this one seems to work better with less dropped calls, better signal, and the data seems to work better in locations the 3w didn't. It still has the awesome battery life of several days. The camera is a little better, but still not as good as my wife's Samsung. I was able to get the two way radio feature to work with the 400mhz walkie-talkies we use on the farm. This is a really cool feature, less stuff to carry around now. I really like the physical buttons and the programmable one. I have it set so a double click turns the flashlight on and a long press for the ptt for the walkie-talkies, works great. This also has a faster processor, more ram, and more internal storage, it is noticeablely faster that the 3w was. I am getting used to the layout of Android 12, but I not sure I like it better than 9 that was on the 3w. Overall I am very happy with this phone as it has all of the features that are important to me that I cannot get with any other phone that will work on Verizon.
