Useful tool.
Super handy for streaming and anyone who likes quick access to shortcuts and controls. It’s easy to use, well-built, and really customizable. The only downside? It’s pretty pricey.

Quick response
The product was working fine at first but after a few mins of use it started lagging and the buttons in the bottom left haven't been working at all, would love to give it a high review as the product seemed cool at first. UPDATE: the company responded and offered a refund/replacement straight away so the issues I had have been resolved pretty quickly.

As useful as you make it
My usage of this is going to be fairly amateur hour so I will write more about what it can be used for rather than my fairly basic application. In essence it is a bit like having a panel of 15 programmable buttons to bring in applications when handling material on a screen. Once programmed, hitting one of the buttons on the 5 x 3 array enables one to bounce between shortcuts giving a very simple way to rapidly call in editing or control functions when manipulating media. You can also have your chosen image appear on the keys so in your peripheral vision it is easy to pick the shortcut you want. This frees you up from needing to switch between screens or use the main keyboard and mouse to summons a required function and switch back and forth. If you are creating music, for example, you can assign buttons to bring in a synthetic instrument, volume control or other recording functions. The swiftness it provides is also probably good for people who are live streaming and want to adjust content on the fly. Say pull in a fade effect or chat control. Remember this is an interface - it doesn’t give you the functions it is a swift way to summons them rather than mess around with keyboard and mouse and select on screen. The same sort of ‘at your fingertips’ functionality is likely to be of use to anyone working on podcasts, general video content or anything that requires you constantly wanting to pull in a program (Premiere) a control (volume), a sound effect and so on.This deck comes into its own for those who are very adept in any of these areas or any that do work that regularly requires pulling in several different functions, effects or programs (graphic art work I guess) and are slowed down by the process of summoning them. Even though I am a plodder and my main need is in relation to video editing, it still reduces the tedium when I find myself pausing to bring in a function. For those who are much more adept and their speed of work is slowed by the two or three steps of pulling in a function et cetera then this is likely to be more of a boon.I am the bottleneck in my editing, and I am slow, but it is still nice to have a side array of keys and adding in an icon to soft touch keys is an essential feature because it enables one to see the correct button out of the corner of your eye and select it without pausing. For me it is a treat, for the serious and proficient individual who really needs to get through a lot of work this is likely to save them some serious time and reduce delay faffingYou do need to put the initial work in to decide what you want to have fast access to via the control pad, arrange your choices logically and import your icons. That is where the serious regular user will be prepared to put in the one off effort of integrating the control pad and then save time daily and improve productivity. Don’t put that work in and you will end up with only a few buttons programmed and at random and it won’t be as ergonomic. The panel will be as useful and time saving as you make it.

So useful. The upgrade I didn't know I needed.
I'm beyond impressed! This tiny little bank of mini-screens is way, way more useful that I'd have ever expected.I'm not a 'streamer' or anything like that. I build websites, I use apps that really could do with better user interfaces. I want quick and easy access to websites or programs that I use to create things and this little board can help with all of that! What effectively this can do is give you a bank of 15 colour icon keys, that you can design the look of if required, that once pressed can be programmed to do multiple things. If say, you're always using Google, you can set a key to go immediately to that website ina. new tab. The key can be the Google logo if you want - or anything. If you want a key that opens Word for instance, that's easy. You could even program it to open a specific file upon opening, if that's what you really want. You can set keys to open folders of 14 other icons (and nest them too). Folders have only 14 spaces, as one key is always a back button, to get you out of the folder. The screens are small and colourful. They're only 126x126 pixels, but that's enough. There's a vertical screen to the right of the keys which only shows information, but again is something that you can customise. If you have 'folders', you can also change what's on that screen when you're in the folder. It's genius! You need to attach the deck to your PC or laptop to power it, as well as to get it to work. There is no Bluetooth here, this has to be connected via a wire to work. If though, you unplug the device and reconnect it, it's back up and running in about a second. You do need to have an 'app' running at all times, but it's small, quick and unobtrusive. The only downside I found was that you cannot always get the 'store' to work, to download new plugins / icons. It worked the first few times, then it felt like the server at the other end 'gave up' - which is something that needs to be addressed by the manufacturer. If it proves to be too unreliable, I'll be changing this score, that's for sure...
