Shouldn't this product be refrigerated? Normally I purchase at Whole Foods in a refrigerated section... but Amazon is 30% cheaper.

I used to work in the supplement section at Whole Foods and this is the brand I use personally. They have two versions, one that is shelf stable and one that is kept refrigerated. I can promise you the refrigerated version came in on a refrigerated truck and was not compromised before going to the cooler shelf (at all the WF I worked at). So in short, there are two versions and you do lose quality/quantity if the cold version is out of the fridge for any extended time.

Does this brand require refrigeration? I'm looking for one to travel with.

I have used this product for at least 10 years (alternating with the 150 billion when I am not well). In my opinion since they changed it to the smaller capsule, the product does not work as well. for my digestive system. Just cancelled subscribe and save from Amazon because it it not kept cool. I question the change from glass to plastic containers.. how great for the environment! Am looking for a better choice.

Does it get shipped in temperature controlled packaging, since it’s recommended to keep it refrigerated?

I have used RENEW LIFE (Extra Care) products for many years because they deliver what they say they will. Specifically the digestive and probiotic products are very helpful to reduce bloating, aid in digestion, and encourage regularity. I love the level and number of strains that promote a health gut helping me to feel great. I stopped taking for a while and recognize my body functions better when I take them. Renew life are quality products and I appreciate them.

I have suffered from reflux, indigestion, and IBS for many years, and this product has really given me a new lease on life. After trying prescriptions, OTC and home remedies, I was just resigned to having to live in discomfort. Most people are not aware that you need a multi strain probiotic with cultures in the billions. The typical drugstore brand doesn't come close to that. I was taking a trip to an All Inclusive in the Dominican Republic and was very concerned about becoming sick from the water/food/cocktails and I figured that maybe I could prophylacticly do something to prevent that. So I did my google research, and found that Ultimate Flora contains everything you want in i ProBiotic - 10 strains and over 30 BILLION cultures. And what I especially liked was that with the GO PACK each capsule is individually wrapped in its own little foil so there is no need to refrigerate. I started taking it about 10 days before I left and every day that I was there. Not only did I not get sick at all, but I noticed I was more regular, and way less bloated. My stomach was so much flatter. And the best thing - I swear it has cured my acid reflux. What a happy side effect. I continue to take this product about 3 - 4 times a week now and I have to say I feel so much better and my digestive issues are nearly nonexistent. THey found a customer for life in me!

these easy-to-swallow capsules do a good job at keeping my digestive system on track. I can really tell a difference when I miss a day or 2, am always watching for a price break on these. makes it so much easier when they don't have to be refrigerated to maintain potency. while I dislike blister-packed pills, these are easier than most to maneuver.

I have subscribed and ordered the "go-pack" individually packaged product. A bottle of loose products came to me. I will use this time, but want ONLY the individual packed items. I use for traveling and doesn't need refrigerator. thanks for making note of this.

Best probiotic I've taken! Everyone should be taking this. I'm lactose intolerant. This plus a better diet and my digestive system is way better now! I can handle some dairy now. Also, take if you are on any antibiotics, they kill the good bacteria too! Got to replenish! I've never had any negative side effects, and I've taken on full and empty stomach. They are better than tums for upset stomach too. --5 star reserved for the version in a bottle, the travel ones don't seem to be as effective and I've bought several times. If you're going to buy, get the bottle not the travel version
