Efficient Value
Addendum: I am leaving this at 4 stars still, it is a good purchase, as a Rebel player you'll want/need it, Amazon has a good price, but having ordered another from Amazon and had an issue I do want to update this to protect others from the issue I faced (as Amazon was not the easiest to report the issue to)...IMPORTANT: Make sure, as soon as you get it, you inspect the B Wing connection joint at the back. Don't be a fool like me (9 times of 10 I check first but the one time I don't...) and get it, open it all and put cards away etc., making it unreturnable, and only then notice your B Wing was broken on arrival. Check The B Wing Right Away!Original Review: I can't recommend this enough, the B Wing is one of the most solid (point efficient) ships in the game and has found a niche in most game metas since it was released. The A Wing gets the Chardon(sp) Refit card from this set [give up your probably unused missile slot, make the craft lower points], and they give you enough to use on other A-Wings you might have bought separately, making it the premiere Rebel low cost fighter. This set gives you both for less than the cost of purchasing each separately AND gives you pilots not in the main packs AND gives you some very nice cards and upgrades for each and for general use. The model quality was also above average. This is a must for using A Wings, near a must for using B Wings, and has several great general use cards too, this is a no brainer for Rebel players and a contender even for other factions if they can't get the cards through other means.... plus I got it for my best buddy's kid and he loved it, thought they were the coolest ships ever, so beyond the competitive use in games I'm fond of this set.Oh and I almost forgot, some fun pilots not in the core A and B sets. If I forget what my wife sounds like when she curses I just play Gemmer, slap on a 'stealth device' card ('auto thrusters' or 'shield upgrade' are options too), action an evade when I can, and wait a few turns. ;)

two cool ships
Honestly - I've got no idea what I'm doing with this game... I'm just buying the stuff that looks cool. Whatever catches my eye. I'm losing lots of matches, but I'm having fun doing it.The Rebel Aces expansion includes two new models: * An A-Wing in a blue alternate paint scheme. * A B-Wing in a red alternate paint scheme. The Rebel Aces expansion also includes several cards: * Jake Farrell * Gemmer Sojan * Green Squadron Pilot * Prototype Pilot * Keyan Farlander * Nera Dantels * Blue Squadron Pilot * Dagger Squadron Pilot * Jan Ors * Kyle Katarn * Chardaan Refit * Proton Rockets * Enhanced Scopes * A-Wing Test Pilot * B-Wing/E2And, of course, the Rebel Aces expansion comes with all the stands, tokens, and dials necessary to play with the new ships.

The ABC's of rebel fighters
This has been one of my favorite rebel purchases thus far. The b-wing is slow but powerful and the a-wing is fast but vulnerable and together they make an amazing team. To start the models are beautiful, as always, with some really cool alternate paint schemes that really make them pop. The b-wing’s maneuvering dial is nothing to write home about with a lot of red and not a lot of green maneuvers. The a-wing’s maneuvering dial is pretty impressive and is very reminiscent of the imperial tie fighters (a-wings are basically the rebels version of tie fighters). Now the flip side of the coin, the a-wings stats are pretty bad clearly favoring a higher agility with 2 primary weapons, 3 agility, 2 hull, and 2 shields and the b-wings stats are interesting with 3 primary weapons, 1 agility, 3 hull, and 5 shields. Yes 5 shields! It may be slow and totally lack agility but with 5 shields who cares! Overall these are two very different crafts that I find myself using over and over again in squads.

Good set, just be careful.
I overall enjoyed the product however I will mention that the plastic tube part for the stand attached to the B-Wing in this expansion breaks off way to easily. I had to super glue it back on to fix the problem. Other then that it's a great addition to have for your X-Wing miniatures game set! Well worth the money i'd say. If you want the ship details for what pilots and upgrades you'd get with this, i'd recommend going to the X-wing miniatures wiki page. It has all the details there. One thing I will also add is that the details on the ships is fantastic, especially on the A-Wing ship since it is super tiny! All of my friends has remarked on that.

I absolutely love it but Classes
I wish I had more time to play this game. I absolutely love it but Classes, Work, and Baby have severely limited my play time for probably the next couple of months. I purchased this add on pack while it was on sale to further add to my collection, being that I am a Empire Nut the primary reason I purchased this Xpansion is the push the limit cards that boost my Tie Interceptors. I also am a big fan of the B Wing in the novels and addition to the TV Series Rebels.

Build quality is great as usual
Slightly lower quality paint from what I can see than Fantasy Flights' normal ridiculously high quality. Build quality is great as usual. Expansion is well priced for a two ship one, some viable builds inside but not as many as other sets, really does make A and B wing more interesting though with a couple of cards very much usable in tournament play.

Good Addition
The B-Wing is kind of slow and cumbersome, but the A-wing is a fast and lethal ship. Both compliment my fleet well and make the game more fun.

Best Star Wars Models I've ever bought, and I have a lot
Super legit. Awesome models, great alternate paint jobs and some really fantastic pilot and upgrade cards. My only complaint is that the best A-Wing pilot comes with the base A-Wing expansion. I feel like he should have come in the Rebel Aces Expansion or that the Aces expansion should have had a better pilot. Isn't that what Ace means...?No real complaints though, just an annoyance. The game is fun and the models are awesome even if you don't play the game.

Great service
The box was crunched in one corner. However, all the contents were undamaged and that's what counts.

Great Set to expand your Rebel fleet.
Anybody looking to expand their Rebel fleet should certainly consider this expansion. After the X-wing, the A-wing and the B-wing are probably the next most recognisable of the rebels smaller ships. Having the two different ships in the Rebel Aces expansion means that you can quickly build up a bit more variation in you fleet. The A-Wing's core stats are: Attack: 2, Agility: 3, Hull: 2, Shields: 2. The A-wing can also Focus, Target Lock, Boost, and Dodge. The B-Wing's core stats are: Attack: 3, Agility: 1, Hull: 3, Shields: 5. The A-wing can also Focus, Target Lock, Barrel Roll. The paint jobs belong to unique squadrons with specific pilots to make this expansion different to the stand alone A-wing and B-wing expansions. A great Star Wars miniature set if you are just starting out and looking for some new ships to grow your rebel fleet. For myself, it was the first expansion I bought after the core set (Not including the millennium Falcon of course!).

Amazing expansion
This expansion gives you the super nimble A Wing as well as the sturdy weapons platform the B Wing plus some amazing upgrades. It introduces the modification cards which are sweet! This is a must have for the rebel fleet and should be purchased after the core set if you plan on having some rebel variety!

Worth The Purchase.
Fantastic addition to the x-wing miniatures game(i am not a competitive player just a table top gaming fan) These 2 ships along with their upgrade cards and unique pilots mix up the game play in a great way, from the bulky B-wing to the nimble A-Wing.I found many combinations that synergies with other ships e.g. using red moves to gain stress on the B-wing Having a upgrade/skill on the A-wing that lets you remove stress from other friendly ships then using the elite pilot/crew skill on the B-wing to gain a free focus when stress is removed... May seem like a lot of extra work for a focus token but X-Wing is a game about movement and positioning so being able to perform those red moves without penalty (with benefit in fact) is a game changer.
