The flat shape apparently is not ideal for bony areas and on fleshy areas it sometimes getting stuck like vendouses so one must bare it in mind

This is a nice set. The stones are smooth, weighty and invite you to hold them. However, there were no instructions or a guide included in the box, which meant that I don’t really know how to use them. Yes, ai can heat them up (I put them in a pan with water) but then what? An instructional booklet about giving a hot stone massage or just key areas to place them would really help and is sorely missing. I’ll google it, but y’know. This would make a lovely gift as it is well packaged…just make sure you print off some sort of guide for whoever you give them to.

These hot massage stones come presented in a nice sturdy box so ideal for gifting. |The first thing you notice is the weight, especially of the bigger stones. They are all nice and smooth, no cracks. What is disappointing is the lack of an instruction sheet. I found microwaving them to a temperature I could handle meant the heat did not last as long. Better if immersed in hot water as it seemed to penetrate the stones better. The weight of the big stones is lovely on your back, really enhances the experience. Overall, really happy with this set - just provide instructions
