This knife sharpener is very easy to use and does a good job restoring dull knives. The ergonomic handle feels comfortable and secure, and the compact size makes it easy to store in a drawer. Just a few passes and the blade is noticeably sharper. It works especially well for quick touch-ups and everyday kitchen knives. While it may not replace professional sharpening for high-end knives, it’s perfect for regular home use and saves time. Overall, this is a practical and effective sharpener. I’m giving 5 stars because it’s convenient and works well, even if it’s more for maintenance than precision sharpening.

My knives are about 17 years old, an expensive set purchased at a home and garden show. They aren’t used much anymore as I live alone and don’t cook like I used to. I figured I would try to sharpen them myself as opposed to mailing them to the company as they suggest. This sharpener is super easy to use, a simple design that fit comfortably in my small hand. I used 2 strokes on my straight edged knives with very little pressure. I got to use my most used knife on a tomato and wasn’t sure how it would work. Surprisingly it cut this tomato with ease, probably better than when new. I was very pleased and have used a couple of the other knives with the same results! Very pleased when used on stew meat, sliced right through with no drag. Very pleased with this simple to use tool, it does the job well. Stores easily in the gadget drawer.

This is a fast efficient way to put some extra life into an old knife. I'm certain there are far more advanced ways to get a perfect edge on your knife, but if you're just looking to improve an old budget kitchen knife, it does the job well. Getting a super sharp edge takes lots of time and effort... this tool will get you a fairly sharp edge in minimal effort.

This is the best knife sharpener I've ever had. I've purchased rolling sharpeners, European sharpeners, and sharpening stones. This very inexpensive sharpener is the best. The sharpness lasts and lasts, and is so easy to use. I've taken dull steak knives and sharpened them 20x down the blade, and man.... their edge is so sharp, I have to warn my guests. Then just a few strokes to resharpen..... Easy-peasy.

I've used several different models of these sharpeners and they are the fastest, easiest way to keep a razor edge on your knives. Period. That includes my expensive sharpeners and whetstone. USAGE NOTE: One of the videos suggests holding the knife in one hand and drawing the sharpener along the blade with the other. NO NO NO. Put the plastic strap over your non-dominant hand and use the hand to hold the body of the sharpener on your counter close to the edge. Draw the knife blade through the sharpener grooves away and down (which is why it helps to have it close to the edge) several times. When it goes through smoothly, it's sharp.

Fast, convenient sharpener. This sharpener works. I used one for sharpening a half dozen knives in about 5 minutes, so I ordered them for my adult family members. I have very seldom done this with other gadgets.

This worked amazingly on my knife set; very easy to use and provides instructions to open and alternate the sharpeners themselves (although I won't need to do for a long time since the quality of the sharpening blades is very good).
