The Farmyard Jamboree (Barefoot Books Singalongs)

The children in my class love this book.

This is a really cute book. I purchased it used and it came without a CD. However, if you go to their website, www.barefootbooks.com, which is on the back cover of the book, you can listen to the song. Since I teach preschool and wanted the kids to learn it, that was very helpful. :) I agree with other reviewers that it starts a little slow and then picks up speed.

My grandson, age 2, loves this book and CD. I also have used it with my preschool class (3's). They enjoy listening to the CD while following the pictures in the book. It's a very cheerful song from Chile that teaches many concepts including farm animal names and the names of their young, family members, and counting by 2's. It's a repetitive song that children learn quickly. Highly recommended.

Ok, I just read another review by a teacher of students with autism. I am also a teacher who works with children with autism and they love this book. Like the other reviewer I was disappointed at first and my students didn't seem to enjoy it on the first read through but then it became one of the most requested stories during circle time. They cannot get enough of it.

My 3 year old son loves Bareffot Books videos on YouTube. This book and the others are wonderful. Bright and colorful, and the songs are great.

It was in great condition. It's a great book! I love the song too- I'm going to use it with my kindergarten class in our animals unit.

Awesome book for preschool teachers! A good 6 min song, very catchy, and the kids love it!
