Great book, definitely helps you gain some knowledge and insight. But unfortunately it's nothing like the actual SJT, the questions and answers are completely different and does not involve choosing "fairly effective or effective" answers. I wouldn't really recommend this book to someone else, I'd recommend what I found on the How2become website instead.

This book provides a basic overview of SJT's and is poorly drafted in relation to policing.Nothing like the Met Police SJT.Do not purchase, no better than free information and tests on the web..Clearly wasn't proof read.Really disappointed........

Money well spent

Found some discrepancies within this text, where the scenarios within the questions are worded totally different to the answer page which would then change how I would approach the situation. It’s not filled me with confidence!

Perfect way to prepare. Doing these tests has helped me get through the first hurdle. Turned up straight away as well

This book worth gold! A really good and concise guide providing information, tips and test examples with answers similar to the ones given in the application process for the police constable role. It gave me confidence to do my upcoming tests. I would recommend this book to anyone who seriously is thinking in joining the force. 5* definitely!
