WinnerGear Kool MFi for Certified Cable Lightning Apple Braided Nylon Strong 3ft (1 Meter) White Aluminum USB Plug Data Sync Charging

Great cable, but the braiding started fraying a bit after a few months. 1 of 2 cables has a spot where if it's bent the cable stops working. I am not aggressively transporting this wire around like my travel ones, I use it for nighttime bedside charging. Would not buy again, I found alternatives that are lasting longer.

Very well built. The metal ends and braided cable made it feel a lot more rugged than the standard Apple cable. I had no issues charging My iPad and iPhone 5S in the 10 minutes I was testing the cable. Only reason I returned them was because they didn't fit the Lifeproof cases.

After my previous lightning cable broke, I set out looking for one of a much higher quality than the stock lighting cable that came with my ipod. After a cursory search through amazon I decided on this one because of its low price and its nylon exterior which I guessed would be more durable. The product came quickly and once I got it out of the packaging I was surprised at how nice this cable is for the low price. As build quality goes the silver plating on the ends of the cable seem to be made of aluminum and the cable itself seems to be pretty well protected by the braided nylon and the three foot lengths is a perfect size for charging from an outlet in most rooms. I also will say my ipod has a protective case on it and I have had no problem fitting the charger through the opening of the case but it does vary by case. The charging seems to be faster than my previous apple one and there have been no issues regarding error messages and the like with charging. Overall a great cable at a great price.

It worked for about 10 months, failed, and I attempted to return it. No dice. Thanks for the 2-year warranty Cool Gear. It was ordered on 10/10/14 and failed on 7/7/15.

I love the cable for the quality, price, and dependability. The nylon cord is tough and tangle free, for I have rolled up the cable countless time and I have yet to find a tear on the cord. When comparing the price of the cable to an original Apple lightning cable it make sense to buy this cable instead. As I have mentioned that I have rolled the cord numerous times, and after each time I rolled up the cable it would still charge the phone and allow me to connect to my PC with no issues. I like it so much that I end up buying more and swapping out my family members original cables with these.

The item arrived in retail packaging, with see-through plastic. This is the first braided, white cable I have ever found. The cable is indeed made with aluminum at both ends. It is beautiful and matches that Apple-look of products. This cable is MFi Certified.The definite downside is its price because this cable is only 1M (about 3 feet) long. Other cables are 3 times longer, constructed of thicker wire, and cost half the price,

This cable does not work with iOS 8 or the iPhone 6. its incompatible as I get a pop up saying its not a supported accessory.

I have purchased several other 'certified' cables before, that Apple shut down after about a month of use. As of 10/25/16, no issues with these.The best part, the woven cable holds up so much better than the original Apple lightning cable.
