The product has a lot of bugs. Support has been responsive, but if you can get a week of consistency with the unit working you will have surpassed my experience. I have over 27 emails with support over the past 3 months of using this item, plus multiple phone calls. I have had to reset the whole system twice, the cFloat Fun has worked on 1 occasion (usually you get a forever spinning wheel then it reads, cannot read at this time), the system will not read to the app consistently. Basically, you are buying a floating bubble in the pool and people will ask you what it is. Since the system is so inconsistent and the alarm does not work most of the time, in my opinion it is not a reliable product. Until they can get a quality, reliable and updated version it is not worth the money or hassle. Cfloat did let me send it back, after my troubles, however I did this on July 20 and it was received the last week of July. They stated they would reimburse me upon receipt and I have yet to be reimbursed, nor have I heard from them. Very frustrated.

When it worked I loved it it, but updates are definitely needed to have this product work as advertised. Only lasted less than 1 year. Company not changing there app to accommodate to greater flexibility.

I brought this product and it is a little tricky to setup, if you have one problem then it's hard to reset but I asked support and they got back quickly and were even happy to arrange a call. It works well now and it does once a month need a restart if something loses connection but otherwise I am really happy

This product is not worth 4 dollars, never mind 400. To start, the quick start guide only tells you how to set up the base station. You are on your own for the main unit. The instructions don't even mention it. They don't even mention that the base floating unit needs to be charged. It's not intuitive at all. You have to plug in this little disc and hang it off the pool unit. Very impractical and touchy to keep it on. The android app to control the thing was written by a first grader. It makes you enter the network name and password, it doesn't poll for active networks. It's really pathetic to set it up. It sends you an email in the middle of setting it up. If you can't get at the email, you're stuck in the middle of set up till you can. Forget about any kind of support. I've had a support ticket in for 2 days and have yet to receive even an acknowledgment of the ticket, never mind a solution. So far, I couldn't state with any certainty that the product actually works. I never got it running. I'm returning this product. It may be a wonderful product, but the people selling it are morons.

I was so excited about this but It worked for no more than 3 months. We tried to get customer support but no one responded with any usefulness. It clearly was a waste of money. Updates didn't work either. Company never offered us a replacement either and didnt reapond for additional support to have it work.

OK, there aren't a lot of reviews out there on this product and there has been a big gap in reviews since '18 - '19. I was skeptical to order, but did after I saw all of the other subscription/fee based options available. It took a month for the product to ship and I was just about ready to dispute the cc charge and abandoned ship when it finally shipped. I emailed the company a few times and they were responsive. The CEO ended up emailing me and told me that COVID has really affected their business negatively. They are an oversees company and the product shipped from Portugal. When I received the product, I had NO issues setting it up. It was super easy when I followed the instructions step by step. I do have a strong WiFi signal at my pool and I think that is the reason some folks had issues with setup. It works perfectly as advertised in regards to the items it monitors. I haven't used the dive/cannonball feature and probably won't. I have had the product almost two weeks and have had no issues at all. This has been the answer for monitoring pool chemistry without spending 4k on an automated system by the pool equipment manufacturers. I can tell in a second where my ph and chlorine(adjusted to ORP) levels are and if I need to add acid or adjust my chlorine erosion feeder rate. Other features are icing on the cake. There really haven't been updates to the app and there could be some improved features, but that is just whining on my part. I will update in a couple of months and see if I am still happy, but I have nothing bad to say about the product's performance. It's been great and would recommend it to you as long as you are not in a hurry to get it while COVID is still causing problems.Update 8/13/2021: Still happy with product. Functioning beautifully! Tip: remove device from water before your daughter's large, playful dogs go swimming. They damaged the pool cap on the bottom a little and trying to get replacement part from seller.

I really, REALLY wanted this to work... I'm an IT administrator, so I wasn't too worried by other reviews about setting the device up. I was wrong, the other reviews are correct, it's impossible to set up without contacting support. They responded right away, but getting it up and running was the only happy part of the experience. It constantly disconnects (does not update pool readings), and when it does work, air and water temperature are min 10 degrees off. If this product was properly tested, it would be a great product, even for the price. But the app is so buggy and underdeveloped, it's a joke to use and not worth anywhere close to the $400 I paid. Returning.
