Great steel perfect length for my knife making

This was not supplied annealed, despite the description. Sure it was easy enough to anneal, and it was definitely well packaged hardenable steel, but with the credability of the basic specs now in question - it's anybody's guess what this stuff actually is.

I don't have an issue if a bar or two gets bent however this wasn't 1095. The manganese content was spot on but the carbon was at .64% after spectro where it should be at .95%. That being said this is 1065 (I'm a small knife maker so I still will work with it but they'll only be for r&d). After taking down the surface finish there were obvious cracks. I have not tested hrc yet to see if it has been treated. If you were set up to do something specific with 1095 and 1095 only I wouldn't buy this.
