Very handy for a quick snack, without all the effort Indian cooking requires if you do it from scratch.

I am not super familiar with how Tikka Masala normally tastes so this review is more how I perceived it than anything. I tried this over some Jasmine rice and thought the taste was pretty good, the curry flavor was fairly light and not spicy but the flavoring was strong enough to overcome the Jasmine rice, all of the veggies were super soft and carried the sauce flavoring very well. The packets were very convenient to use and following the directions I did not get any splatter in my microwave even with all the popping noises which is a big plus. The packets held more than I expected, so much that pouring it over my single serve rice bowl still left it very soupy so I had to make another one. This is a good quality item and I will enjoy the rest of them but at the current $18 price for 3 I don't see anything super special that adds that great a value to them.

Easy and delicious 😋

This is wonderful...delicious. And no big salt and preservatives. All you need in the house is rice and this, and maybe keep on hand sour cream and chutney to put on top. 1 package serves 2 people. Dinner in 15 minutes (which is how long it takes to cook the rice. IT IS GOOD STUFF.!

Very nice portable food

This is a great tasting, healthy Indian curry. It's packed with flavor and I love that the ingredients are completely organic. It's not a low calorie food, because once you have this with rice you're probably looking at around 600 calories per bag - but it tastes great and still seems healthy. It's low in sodium for a prepackaged meal at just 33% daily value per bag. However, it's a little light in protein and fiber at just 6g for each. The ingredients are high quality, natural, and it tastes amazing so I would definitely still recommend it, I just wish it had a bit more substance. It's super quick and easy to use, you just tear a slit and microwave the bag for 60 seconds, and then pour on rice or serve with bread.

The Good: * Best by date on the packages I got is late 2027 * The bag is easy to open and once heated, tears straight across. This is a BIG DEAL because so many of these packages make opening a pain * The instructions, at least for my microwave, are spot on. 90 seconds and let it sit for a minute and you are eating * The flavor is good, but mild and not at all spicy. I did need to add a little salt and pepper The Meh: * The price is on the high side ($17.99 at time of purchase, $14.39 at time of review), and in some cases almost double the price of a competing product (but only about 10-15% more than say, Tasty Bite) * Even with rice, I ate the entire package as a meal because no, there are not 2.5 servings in the pouch The Bad: * Nothing bad, but the price is hard to justify The Verdict: Generally impressed and would recommend more if the price were lower. $4.80-6.00 per pouch is anywhere from a little much to much too much. The flavor is good, and not too hot, and it is very quick to heat. No complaints and would like to buy again if there is a sale.
