Handy, dandy pocket size business tool
Great little recorder with a strong and lasting battery. I bought one a few years ago and have used it and it has served me well. I dropped it next to the car seat and was unable to retrieve it due to all the electronic motors and gizmos under the seat. A friend mentioned the need for one. I ordered a replacement and the day before it arrived mine slid out from under the seat. Now my friend has a recorder he reports as useful, convenient and easy to use. My thoughts exactly.

Nice recorder
Great quality recorder, a good, lightweight and discrete size, with good sound quality, the buttons are quite small and its hard to use the recorder discretely if you were to try and press some of the buttons but its functionality is good.

Excellent results IF YOU ADD AN EXTERNAL MICROPHONE ....
After a fair amount of experimenting it was obvious that this recorder has very good battery life, excellent recording quality, very good controls in the menu and settings, and a very compact size. The controls are tiny (as expected given its size) but manageable even for someone with fairly large hands. Watch out for the SD card on the side immediately above the on/off switch. If you accidentally press on it even lightly, the card will pop out slightly and the recording/playback either won't start or stops. I'm thinking about putting a piece of tape over it to keep that from happening. However, the built-in internal microphone and speakers are almost worthless and located on the side of the recorder which must be facing up when recording/listening. Recording with the internal microphone only picks up voices if they are within a few feet of the recorder. Recordings of people speaking at the far end of a conference table are very faint and almost impossible to understand. Playing back with the internal speakers is almost as bad. You will find yourself holding the recorder next to your ear when listening. That said, I added a lavalier microphone that I had in my office and set the "Record From" setting to "External Mic". Make sure the external microphone is a TRS style with a 3 segment plug (not the 4 segment TRRS headset style). Amazon has some for about $5. I also added a cheap set of plug in earbuds that I had in a drawer. Note that the vendor does offer a package that includes an external microphone but that nearly doubles the price. The result was an AMAZING IMPROVEMENT in both the sensitivity, quality and clarity of the recordings. The external microphone picked up everything that was said in the room including some side conversations around the table. The earbuds allowed me to clearly hear and understand everything that was said in the conference room including the TV at the far end that was part of the video conference. These accessories turned a poor to mediocre recorder into a very useful quality audio recorder. The accessories do add a bit to the cost but it is still a pretty good value compared to the "name brand" recorders being offered. Especially if you only need a recorder for occasional use.

Crystal clear recordings & super easy to use!
This voice recorder blew me away! The sound quality is amazing — crisp and clear thanks to the dual mics and the 3072Kbps HD audio. I love the voice-activated function, it saves space and makes reviewing files easier. The playback is loud and clear, and the A-B repeat feature is perfect for studying or interviews. It’s lightweight, fits in my pocket, and the 64GB memory holds so many hours. Great for lectures, meetings, and even personal notes. Worth every penny!

Unreliable and Poorly Built
The Crosseagle 64GB Digital Voice Activated Recorder with Playback died within a couple of days of receiving it. I did a couple of short test recordings, set the time, and adjusted the recording settings. The first time I needed to record something important, the recorder wouldn’t start up — it only displayed a blank screen with the backlight on. I tried recharging it, but that didn’t help. I went through the usual troubleshooting steps, but instead of wasting too much time on it, I decided to just return it. Even if it had started working again, I wasn’t confident it would be reliable.A couple of notes about this recorder: the device is quite small — smaller than expected — and very lightweight. This could be an asset, though I was actually hoping for something a little larger with a bigger screen and buttons that are easier to read. While I wasn’t expecting much from an inexpensive device, the poor build quality was immediately noticeable. The light weight makes it feel cheap. The SD card was stuck in the socket, and after I managed to remove it, I couldn’t get it to stay in properly. The menu system and setup are obscure and not well documented. I couldn’t even figure out how to get back to the recording setup screen, assuming it would be through the menu button — but that’s not how it works.Bottom line: you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re looking for something dependable. If you want to swap SD cards (to transfer files to your computer, for example), the socket mechanism seems unreliable. Buying budget devices like this always feels like a gamble — you might get one that works, but you’re probably more likely to get one that breaks right away or shortly after.

DOES THE JOB, JUST BARELY
The media could not be loaded. This is my first recorder. It does record. It does NOT record well.. the BEST thing that it records are the "clicks" clicks to start recording, to pause & to stop. You can hear that VERY CLEARLY...What you will NOT hear clearly is someone several feet or a yard away from you.It is okay for up close conversation. I gave it three stars for that. Sadly, I needed it for meeting notes. It recorded chairs scooting, paper shuffling & random cough and sneezes of those near me.. the person that I needed to record was just audible for me to strain to hear.I placed a random generic sample for you to enjoy the clicks. It records, just not professionally. It is small and discreet. Kind of outdated method of clicks..it reminds me of my old cassette recorder. It is lightweight.Get if you just want something to play with.. find another if you need real details.I hope this helps this video is helpful! Have a great day!
