This is a really nice railing. I installed it to Code. I didn’t have any problem with the installation. It looks very nice and it does the job

Easy install / looks simple and nice, but puleeeeeze, charge an extra dollar and ship the rail with decent hardware. Pro tip - don’t bother with the cheap plastic anchors, get #9 (I installed the 8’ version) of whatever anchors you’re comfortable with and use those (unless you can get every bracket into a stud or something other than Sheetrock). I used a 5/16 bit ( I think they call for 8 mm) but the supplied anchors gripped the wall poorly, and the screws really needed to be a little longer to get good purchase. I was able to get a couple screws into studs, but needed anchors for the others. I used plastic self drilling anchors after pulling the supplied anchors out (luckily without making a mess) and was able to use the black flathead screws that came with the rail. I would have liked the screws to be an half inch longer but I think with 9 screws holding the brackets I should be good. End result looks good , is quite sturdy and was an economical solution to making that staircase a little safer.

Photos show a matte black railing but comes glossy — completely different look and feel for what was intended. Connecting seams are also visible, not a deal breaker but also not apparent from product photos. Installs relatively easy but directions provided lack necessary specifics ie; putting the railing on the wall. The screws holding the rail to the wall joints stripped immediately leaving the rail loose within the holders and feels unstable. It’s a cheap railing that looks and feels cheap, as is everything on this website. A good for a placeholder for something real.
