These are not 30-40 mmHg
I took them to my lymphedema therapist at Kaseman Hospital Presbyterian Rehabilitation Services yesterday and was told they are 15-20 mmHg at maximum. I was shown what real 30-40mmHg looks like, they can practically stand on their own. This item is slightly stiff stockings with light compression. I additionally learned that the claim of any mmHg is random by any commercial manufacturer, as mmHg is not a regulated expression of compression. If you want true 30-40mmHg, go to an orthotic supplier in your area.

Excellent compression socks
Very high compression: 30-40 Hg mm. The open toe feature is nice, since you don't get the compression in your toes. I have worn them for 3 days so far, and I feel great relief on my varicose veins in comparison with the lower compression socks that I had use before. I bought the 1st pair as a trial, and now I'll definitely buy more.

Comfort Compression and Toeless!
I have been wearing compression socks for a long time. The problem I experienced with the others was the toe. After my cardiologist gave me a pair that felt good but had the toe I searched for toeless and found these. Ordered them and once they arrived (two days) yay! I wore them the next day and WOW! Compression is excellent and toeless is such a relief! Love them!

Great fit except in one area
Color is just as pictured, kind of a periwinkle blue/purple. The band at the toes is not tight. My calves are 14 inches and I bought the mediums. Oddly enough, my swelling is mostly along the inside of my shins and not very severe, but where these were uncomfortable was right on the “top” of my ankle. Like where a sandal strap would sit. They fit very well everywhere else: more snug than the 20-30 mmHg I have, but not uncomfortable, except that one area. When I took them off there were multiple creases on both feet there. I’m going to keep wearing them, but found that detail odd. May be my feet. One more thing I like about the open toes is that I can wear socks over these that match my clothes (usually black) without making my feet are too bulky for my shoes. The fabric is very smooth and “silky” and sheer even though it’s super strong.

Size fits perfectly
We measured using the size chart and the Size fits perfectly. My mom is in her 60's and these were a challenge for her to get on, which was expected, but she was able to do it independently. They wear like they're supposed to, nice and tight, but not so much that they are uncomfortable. Now, she wants another pair in a different color.

Amazing! I wear them during the day as my ...
I purchased these compression socks. Amazing! I wear them during the day as my job is walking all day. Since I’ve been wearing these, I know longer have achy swollen legs. Best compression socks I’ve ever purchased, and I have wasted a lot of money on different brands. I highly recommend these.

Lymphadema (leg swelling relief)
I have been plagued with lymphadema for many years as an inherited malady. I’ve tried most every brand of compression hose on the market but have found a successful option with Doc Miller compression hose. I like the open toe edition and have now accumulated 5 -6 pair enabling me to have fresh hose each day. I really like the durable constructiontion that allows me to place the used hose into the washer on the delicate cycle that I use with all of my t shirts and when finished washing I let them air dry over night and they’re ready to wear the next morning.

I have fallen out of love... where did you go? What happen?
UPDATE: 08/21/20There have been quite a change in these over the last few years. 1st purchase was April 2018. I waf pleased with the quality and amount of compression. They have either changed manufacturers and materials and I'm not pleased with the changes. Unfortunately these changes were not for the better and I believe the quality has suffered. There still good, but NOT the once GREAT SOCK. REAL bummer when companies cut corners be cause the product suffers.First, l want to thank the seller. I requested that l wanted white, but white was not an option. He honored my need and now they have manufactured the white color l wanted. Not many companies respond to such requests, so l was extremely overjoyed that he cared about customer input. So folks, buy white too, so this company is rewarded for being customer satisfaction minded.I love these socks, but l must be honest. I made a recent order to stock up for winter, and it seems that they are now made either by a different manufacturer, or that they have been redesigned. Had they not made that change, l would definitely say that you'd be back for more. However, these last 3 pair cause me pain, and have got spots where it pinches me. On top of that, l don't have big legs or calves at all, and i've got very skinny ankles. So, not sure why they would fix something that wasn't broken. Maybe, to save cost wise, but unfortunately for me the change isn't a good one. That said, they have been a lifesaver up till now for many reasons.I hope they reconsider the change they made, not to be a good one. They are high quality though and well made. I just do not like the changes to they made cuz l could immediately tell l wasn't wearing the same socks.Anyhow, they are still a decent sock. Just cold wash and hang dry. I suggest a trail period for first timers who may feel some discomfort from the band. I found that after some use, that was no longer an issue. During my break in period; what l did, was, place some cotton stripes strategically around where the band is. Once broken in, you won't need the cotton anymore... you literally won't notice or feel the band once you start using them. I wear mine everyday.
