Beautiful and fills your hand.
Not only are these very attractive, they fill your hand and make a J-Frame very controllable under recoil. Pachmayr's laminated rosewood grips look great on stainless or blued guns and give you a full grip in a very compact package. Easy installation, won't shred clothing or turn into bubble gum, functional and durable.

Great fit and still good for pocket carry
It was an excellent fit for my 642 j-frame revolver. No looseness at all. It’s also a bit larger than the stock grips and allows for a better grip. The pinky doesn’t dangle as much.It also covers the backstrap, I suspect it will be a little better for recoil than the stock ones, as with those the back of the aluminum frame jams right into the web of your hand. The wood I’m sure will be softer. Haven’t confirmed this though at the range. The most important thing for me was that it is still concealable for pocket carry, I had tried a tamer hogue grip and it’s just too big to be used as pocket carry. And I’m a pretty big person with large pockets.Overall super happy and would recommend it for anyone that wants an upgrade from the stock grips, better grip on the gun, and retain concealability. Not to mention they look very nice!

Defective glue used on brass emblem on grip hope it's just a fluke & I'm getting a new pair
The brass logo on the grips with pachmyrs company logo came off on my first trip to the range I'm hoping it was just a fluke and the glue is bad as I have already set up a return for a new pair because I have purchased two grips from them in the past and did not have any issues with those and am hoping I just got a lemon this time. I will change the review to five stars upon getting a new pair that's not defective

Abso the Best Grip at a Fair Price!
Upfront, this is a real review, I am not a paid scammer. Just received these Renegade grips and mounted them today. They are very nicely cut/machined and equally nicely finished. They fit my ”neighbor’s” ;) J-frame perfectly. I might add that both medallions are mounted and aligned correctly. I have nothing but praise for these grips at the price. They look almost as well made as the Alta###’s but at a much lower price. Plus, I paid for a new set of grips directly from Alta### over two weeks ago and they still haven’t shipped. Kudos to Pachmayr for offering these. And, yes they are made in China. I am ordering a second set of these grips for my other neighbor as soon as the money is available.

We're listed as used and discounted item was like new
For Smith & Wesson snub nose model 36 I could not fit my pinky on the grip these extended the grip and allow the space for my pinky to help control recoil

Best grips for J-frame… hands down!!!
These Pachmayr rosewood grips are by far the best made, most comfortable and best value of any grips for a J frame revolver. I realize there are negative reviews of these grips and I can only assume that perhaps Pachmayr’s QC may need some tightening up. I, however, have numerous sets of Pachmayr grips and have never had an issue. All mine fit right, are comfortable and far surpass factory grips and most aftermarket sets. These rosewood grips are better than an aftermarket set (from a very well known manufacturer) that I recently sent back due to poor craftsmanship. Not to mention, these Pachmayr’s were 2/3 the cost!!! Well done Pachmayr, keep up the great work.
