After using this towel, I've decided to transition to only using linen towels (used to be only Egyptian cotton, no fabric softener, ew).Definitely a very different towel experience than cotton - not nearly as warm - but it's much more absorbent, dries faster so it doesn't get funky as quickly, saves space and weight (perfect for travel), and the much tighter weave means it will last longer.If you haven't used linen towels before, you're going to think it won't work well when you first touch it, because a cotton towel this thin and woven this tightly would NOT work. But linen is something else entirely! Great product. 10/10 will buy again.

I'm a linen towel convert now. I love this towel, its so absorbent, much more than regular towels and dries so quickly. The texture is a little rough, but getting softer the more it's used and washed. Sturdy but thin, great for saving space and weight in a gym bag.

I was looking at linen towels because I was interested in their absorbent and compact qualities. I'm also going to state that this towel will most likely not replace your cotton bath towels that will hang in your bathroom. In my opinion, this should be used for when you're traveling or at the gym. It's very light and when folded, so compact in your backpack or gym bag. What makes this great is the fact that while linen isn't antibacterial (linen really is not antibacterial, please read the 2008 USDA study by Chun/Foulk/McAlister "Testing for antibacterial properties of cotton/flax denim.") It dries so quickly which doesn't give bacteria much time to proliferate and create that funky smell we associate with cotton bath towels.Summary: If you're hiking anytime soon or live in a van or need something light and easily fits in your backpack, then I recommend this linen towel. It's large compared to other linen towels on Amazon but it's still easily fold-able. Worth a shot at least after several washes because this isn't pre-washed so it's going to be rough and coarse at first. But that's the case with all linens.Pros:+ linen wicks moisture quickly but it also dries quickly+ gets softer over time+ perfect for travel as it's light and compact+ large dimensions in comparison to other linen towels (for reference in my picture, I'm 5'10")+ will last longer than your cotton towels because flax is a naturally stronger fabricCons:- for some reason, Harmony Idea decided to ink print their logo onto the towel instead of just stitching it. I can tell that the ink is going to fade or peel off.- the towel isn't pre-washed

Excellent for the price. They give off a very nice linen smell the first time you use them. They are not soft or plushy but they wipe the water off nicely and dry so super fast! They make me feel fancy whenever I use them and I am very happy with my purchase.

This towel is absorbent, a little smaller than I expected although the measurements are listed clearly and it does dry my whole body. I washed it several times and it still is a bit rough. I feel like it almost exfoliates as it dries you off. :) I still use it but it's not my favorite, I was hoping it would soften up more than it has. I also expected it to be more wrinkled more than it is but because it tends to be a bit stiff it doesn't wrinkle as much.

I love this towel! I'm going to replace my bath towel with this. So natural, minimal, and organic. It's compact, soft, and simple. Linen is naturally thin, but super absorbant. The other comments make the towel seem like sand paper, but its soft and gets softer after every wash. Sown well too. Good price, buy it

Love the towel for quick dry time in dryer which cuts my electric bill. Absorbing. Lint free. Does not have the fluffiness and softness of a conventional towel if this is important to you. Quality fiber is a tight weave and very long-lasting. This was my first linen towel. I have purchased two more.

Bought this for travel when I have limited backpack space and need quick drying with no weird smells. I don't love the fabric feel since it's just a flatweave - it's like a big linen kitchen towel but it's sooooo much smaller packed than a fluffy towel. I tested it out at a beach once so far against a normal beach towel and it seems like it will work well. The linen towel dried same day before I got home and the regular terry type towel took about 2 days to dry once I got home. Sand doesn't get stuck in the fabric either since it doesn't have any loops or texture. I use linen in my kitchen and can 100% attest that it does not smell musty after getting wet then drying many times. Other compact travel towels are microfiber and they smell extremely bad after drying. Size of this towel is smaller than a beach towel but it's adequate. It's not super soft but I have fairly sensitive skin toward itchy fabrics and this is not scratchy/itchy at all. And if you compare linen travel towels this is $30 and the other ones are puffier waffle/gauze style and are like $70+. And linen bath towels are just too big for travel.
