Perfect addition to my lighting/grip kit
I can't say enough good things about the Neewer SS240 rolling combo stand. If you're looking for a review on the SS305W rolling baby studio stand just scroll down farther in this review. I bought the combo stand specifically to use with my new GVM sd500b-AIO, which is a 500w LED cob light that doesn't have a separate ballast. That means it's quite a heavy light and it needs a beefy stand, especially when using a soft box or other modifier with it. I can't afford Matthews, Avenger, or American brand stands on my budget. So having this option is great. I DID get this one "used" on Amazon for nearly half off, but it was basically just an open box model. I will happily pay less for an open box one. This stand fits the bill perfectly. I did opt to use a junior-to-baby adapter pin for stability and safety reasons. This light provides a heavy duty functionality, while not being as heavy as an equivalent combo stand from Matthews/Avenger. It makes it easier to carry and load in my vehicle to take it on location. The wheels are smooth rolling and they're very handy to use, but if you really need that extra stability you can take them off and put the legs directly on the ground. The max height isn't a tall as some combo stands, but if you use a baby-stand extension, you can get a couple more feet of height if you need it. I'll probably order a used one off eBay or something. I'd really like to get a second one of these so I could possibly use them to hold a butterfly frame or something like that. So I'll keep watching for another open box model to come up for sale. For the price, you can't do better than this. I also bought the SS305W rolling baby stand and that's awesome too. Same thing, I got it listed as "used" but it was just an open/damaged box model. What surprised me was how lightweight it was when I picked it up. But it's still nice and strong even at max height. I put an Arri 1k Fresnel on it to test it out in my garage, and I had the light clear up in the rafters. This stand has more max height than the combo stand, although it's maybe not as sturdy because of the design of the legs/feet. This stand is more meant for studios or indoor locations with hard floors. I probably wouldn't use it outside on uneven terrain. Make sure to sandbag it if you use it on location, you can also use a couple ratchet straps to keep it solid and in-place if you have it at maximum height. I'm definitely going to have plenty of uses for it and I'll probably buy another used one at a discount when I get the chance. Use some blue thread lock when you install the wheels. This will keep them from unscrewing when you use the stand.

Very heavy duty
This is a very substantial light stand. The center main riser is 2" in diameter. I like the lower profile of the stand at its lowest point even with the wheels attached is 42" floor to top. The wheels are 4" and feel like urethane which is very easy to roll on the studio floor. The load capacity is impressive, rated at a much higher load capacity than my other Neewer cstands and heavy-duty light stands, which themselves are quite heavy duty. This stand is quite heavy in weight and therefore does not require sandbags as often as my other stands. It handles with ease everything I have put on it. If you're looking for a stand that is built like a tank look no further. This stand is not for sissies, and it has a nice, polished finish. I will buy a few more of these due to their excellent quality and functionality.

Heavy duty and solid
Excellent quality. Very heavy duty and solid. Castors are quiet and smooth. I like that it stands on its own even when legs are closed. Will hold anything you need it to - ideal for heavy lights with modifiers

Good Value. Don't need to pay for overpriced stands
Love this stand. Super sturdy and solid. Definitely much better and stable than a traditional C-stand. Heavier but it does its job. Good value for the money

Solid as a rock
We use this for our TikTok set up and have a ton of things hanging from it. I got the one with the wheels so it could be easily moved - and it does. It does exactly what you want it to do, doesn't shake or wobble and is very sturdy. We also bought the smaller version and it's great too.

STORM 400x Light Stand
If you are looking for an excellent light stand for the new Aputure STORM 400x video light, this stand is an logical choice. Use of the stand's junior receiver to mount the video light on this stand provides a very stabile combination. The stand is well built and a good value price wise. The stand comes pre-assembled except for attaching the wheels; wheel attachment is easy.

Great stand for the price
I wasn't sure what I was getting for the cost of this light stand but when it arrived I was immediately pleased with the quality. I didn't really note the diameter of the tubing before purchasing but I set it up in my living room to try it out and it works great. I'm not sure if I want to install the wheels since they will make it harder to store collapsed but so far I'm loving it.

Sturdy well built junior stand, held my 2x2 inflatable on a 1.5m arm without the need for sandbags. The ability to remove casters is nice. They need to be bolted to the outer holes not inner ones as in this listings pictures. The baby pin doesn’t have horizontal mode but not a dealbreaker for the price.

This is definitely heavy duty. Much heavier weightwise, than my other stands. The wheels roll great, which is what I was looking for. Because it is heavy, when I raise the pole to make it higher, you have to make sure to really tighten the screw or it will slip down because of the weight of it. Im happy with my purchase.
