It has some magnets to help fold it. I was hoping for a slimmer design that would be more travel, friendly, and save space.

My laundry room is a pass through to my garage and this ironing mat sits on top of my dryer. I use it primarily as an anti-scratch cover to protect my dryer. Easy to launder and lightweight.

I'm using so I can fold clothes and keep on dryer without them sliding off. Magnets work well

I bought this mat to iron out some sewing projects on. I placed it on my desk thinking about how convenient it is. Little did I know, this mat is not fully heat resistant. While it does somewhat protect the surface (my desk had no burn marks), the heat travels all the way through even when the iron is on the lowest setting. When I touched the surface of the table after removing the mat, it burned me. I found that folding the mat in half so that it was doubled still led to the heat bleeding through, but less so. Overall, it mostly protects the surface however still heats it up.

Perfect for small items, pressed out quickly on the countertop
