Works great. Excellent price.
A glamper once criticized this cookset because it was so heavy. For the $100 difference in price, I'll deal with the extra few grams of weight. This is one piece of equipment that I've never regretted purchasing. It's been to 10 different states in the US and cooked probably 200 meals on campfires and alcohol/propane stoves and on my kitchen range. At one point it was completely black with soot and I thought it was permanent until I sprayed some oven cleaner on it and then it looked like new.It packs easily into the exterior pocket of my backpack. If you remove one cup, it has enough space for a micro-stove. With both cups you can store fuel tablets which is enough to boil water for tea/oatmeal/etc.The folding handle is convenient and stays cool enough to use without gloves. The included cups are tiny but enough for a cup of coffee/tea.Cleanup is easy and except for one disaster with burned rice, cleaned up with just some soapy water. As mentioned, I used some over cleaner on the outside and it looked brand new.And it's durable. I've dropped it a bunch of times, banged it on rocks to empty it, and generally treated it like a piece of hardware. If it were a $120 titanium "cooking system" it wouldn't be nearly as much fun.

Upgrade of a Dependable Original
Stanley Wildfare Go- Four-Piece, Stainless Steel, Two-Cup Cook set consists of a 32 oz. Pot/Lid with a fold-and-lock handle and two stacking cups. The color is listed as Shale + Charcoal. This has a compact design and is ideally sized for hiking and camping. The insulated cups nest inside the pot for more efficient packing, while the folding handle locks the lid in place for secure transport. This is built tough for a camp cooking set; it is 18/8 stainless steel that resists dents/breaks. The double-wall insulated cups keep drinks hot while the exterior stays cool enough to touch. The cups are not large but big enough for camp coffee. This is a versatile piece of kit. Ideal for camping, this 4-piece camping cooking set boils water, cooks meals, strains food, and serves as cups for drinking. It works well with ultralight camp stoves. The inside of the pot has graduated marks. If I am keeping it simple with a dehydrated Backpacker Meal, this is all I need. I have also found that a couple of my different minimalist Backpacking Stoves will nest in this pot when stored. The set fits well in an exterior pocket of my day pack or Backpack. I have and still use the older version of this. This cooking pot has a larger capacity than the original. They did this without increasing the height. The pot does not flare in as much on the bottom; that is how they added volume. They also improved the folding tab on the lid.The set is easy to clean and is made of dishwasher-safe and BPA-free (a must) 18/8 stainless steel. Venting/Strain holes allow for smoother pouring and efficient draining. The lid fits snugly. It is comforting to know that Stanley products purchased from Stanley resellers come with a lifetime warranty.

Very Happy! Great Little Set!
We bought this as part of our cup situation from purchasing the Wildfare cook set. We got a pair of the stacked cups (2 in the set), and then we purchased this cook set - which comes with an additional (2) cups - so we ended up with a total of 4. We've been extremely pleased with the quality and we haven't had any issues.- We've used it over a direct campfire 4 times since we got it, and the versatility is awesome. We've boiled water in it, made some coffee, made some tea, and even reheated beans in it.- You will definitely want to handwash (it's dishwasher safe) - handwashing seems to get all the soot off much better.- It's lightweight and fits easily into our camp kitchen setup bag along with everything else.- The handle can get a little hot if it's over a direct flame, so make sure you have something to grab it with.- The lid stays on just fine for how we use it; we haven't had any issues.Get it :) You'll enjoy it!

Wasn't sure Stanley could improve upon this great design....They did!
The Stanley Adventure cookset has been a staple in my outdoor kit bag for a while and I absolutely loved it. When I saw that it was being replaced by the new Wildfare design I was skeptical that such a great little piece of gear could be noticeably improved upon and expected some compromises in the new design. Boy was I wrong! The Wildfare is slightly larger with an increased capacity in both the cookpot and the cups. The new lid design, although not backward compatible with the Adventure cookset, has an improved lid lifter and great fit. The slightly wider bottom fits my small stoves even better that the previous version. The real bonus is that even with the size improvement, you can still slip this pot into a Glacier style camp mug! It does not bottom out in the external mug so you can even store a few bits of small gear in the Glacier. I was able to get a full size Bic, a small scrubber, and some tinder with room to spare. This Cookset is not the lightest on the market and some ultra-light backpackers will still clamor for titanium products, but if you are looking for great functionality, solid build, and affordable pricing, the Wildfare cookset is good to go.

Stanley cook set for the win!!
This is a versatile, sturdy and useful cook set. The included cups are a plus. I didn't think I would use them but turns out they are well built and hold my AOTU backpacking stove securely inside the pot. Great addition to your camping or backpacking gear.

Nice size
It is nice and useful much like older models, but is bigger. My old ones have marks every four ounces which I really liked. This one only has 8 ounce increments--one cup, two cups, etc. plus milliliters.

Well Made for Backpacking.
Good depending what you're using it for. It doesn't work on my 1 and 2 burner Coleman stoves because it's narrow and tall. Very tipsy for boiling water. Should be good for a single burner back packing stove if you're super careful it doesn't fall over. Quality is good but I have no use for it. Have had it a year and have never used it.
