This is the second Xleader SoundAngel product I had the opportunity to try, and I feel like I'm slowly becoming a fan of the brand. This pool speaker has a more playful design compared to the other one, which is very fitting for its purpose. They both arrived in sturdy and elegant packaging, protected by cardboard and foam from any harm. The floating SoundAngel speaker has an impressively robust rubber cover that's able to protect it from knocks and drops pretty well, making the product ideal for outdoor use, like hiking and camping. The 4 control buttons are distributed on the two sides and they are seamlessly built into the rubber for waterproofing purposes. The supplied accessories, apart from a good quality charger cable that's thankfully longer than my thumb, are a carabiner and a cord, which was a pleasant surprise. These make the speaker even more portable and versatile, since it can be fixed on a backpack, hung up in the shower, carry around on a wrist strap, or whatever else idea you can come up with. But in my opinion, the SoundAngel shines best when it is in its main element: water. The pretty decent sound quality even gets a boost being carried on the water surface, and the light show is reflected back, too. (Unless you have a much stronger light to overpower it, like in my case.) The speaker has a really good battery life, it still runs on the first full charge with several weeks of sporadic use. All in all, I think that for an affordable price, I've received a speaker that looks and feels more expensive, and offers extra features normally beyond this price bracket. I am happy to recommend the product to anyone who wants a reliable, user-friendly and fun-filled speaker without breaking the bank.

This speaker has good sound quality and is loud enough to use on a busy road whilst riding a bike, particularly when mounted on the handlebars. I bought this as my previous riding speaker used a strap rather than a bracket to attach to my mountain bike and would sometimes fall off on rough terrain but this Xleader speaker stays on the bike. I worry that the plastic bracket may fail though and the thumb-nut to tighten it onto the handle bar is a bit small and doesn't tighten enough for my liking so the speaker can move and point downwards dure to excessive vibration on the roughest terrain. An alloy bracket and tighter mount would be better but for the price, it is as good as I expected. The speaker, however, is far better than I expected. Good sound with lively highs and decent lows, plus when mounted on the handlebar, it is light enough not to upset the handling and close enough that I don't have to use full volume (which would be anti-social). I crank up the volume on road sections to drown out vehicle noise and you can feel the bass through the handlebars. It has good high volume without distortion and the water-resistant cover for the usb-c power port is good and tight. Good that it has USB-C. If I had one complaint about the speaker (not the bracket), it would be the buttons. They require a hard press to operate and their functions aren't logical. A short press on +/- changes volume and long press changes track. This is at odds with most other speakers I have used that require a double press to skip tracks. Maybe I will get used to it. I recommend the product for the price I paid for it. If it had alloy brackets then I would have been prepared to pay a little more.

This is a fun idea. It looks a bit like a tape measure with thick rubber around the outside and because of the size and shape. It's super easy to pair. Just turn the speaker on and set your phone to seach for new bluetooth device. Note that if it's paired to your phone, it has to be disconnected from that device before you can pair to another device, like your laptop. The exterior casing including the controls are black rubber. This looks great but is a bit of a functional issue as you have to look closely to see the On/Off button, Next Track, volume controls and light control buttons. It's a trade-off with design as if these buttons were marked with say White to show the function of each button, the speaker would not look so cool. To make my life easier, I have just popped a dot of nail polish on the On/Off button to make my life easier. The volume Up and Down buttons are on the other side, so I only need the one dot because then I know where everything else is. Sound. The volume is good for a small speaker. I find the sound much better for speech than music. So great for podcasts. For my kind of music, I would prefer more bass than this gives but it's loud and sound quality is what I'd expect at this price. For outdoors, or with a shower going in the background, you don't need amazing sound anyway. At high volume there is a kind of fuzziness to the sound and when my alarm went off on my phone, this played on the speaker and I noticed there was a lag between the tune on my phone and the speaker. Not that this matters to me but in case you have special need for lag-free bluetooth connection. You can pair this speaker with another to get stereo and I imagine this would be great for parties etc. Comes with a shoelace like tie and a good carabiner for attaching to bag, etc. I'm happy with the volume and durability. It looks good. Will survive sand, beach or a dunking. I would recommend for anyone wanted a reasonable, fun, hard-wearing, portable, water-resistant speaker.

Holder does not fit onto handlebars like it should, sound quality is atrocious and I used it once now it will not charge at all wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy it's the worst thing I've ever owned
