This dog door is absolutely wonderful. No air transfer at all with the three flaps. This is perfect for my 85 lb boy.

Very easy installation. Completed it with my drill ans sawzall. If you have basic tool knowledge it is very simple. It took me 20 minutes. With less experience it might take an hour. Clear instructions and my dog loves it. Got the larger size as we have a 22 pound dog, but may adopt a larger mid size dog eventually.

Very well packaged, every corner had protection from potential damage. The unit was true to size and fit well. The quality of the door is top notch. The latches open and close with ease. There are two rubber doors as well as an insulated pad giving the door an insulation pocket. I wish i would have replaced my old door sooner.

Putting in this wall door was one of the best decisions we made when building our new house. It looks great and works as expected. It took our 2 Chihuahuas about 30 seconds to figure out using 3 doors instead of one, so that was not an issue. It is not air-tight, but worth the tradeoff of the dogs having bathroom access 24/7. We did have a tiny tree frog come through it, so that might be an issue for some folks, but we live in the country, so there are lots of extra critters around our house. I don't think that would be an issue in "town".

I purchased a medium door in September 2025 for our Cockapoos. We had several issues with the product. The seller contacted me and resolved all the issues I had. They even refunded my money and provided replacement parts at no cost. Now my dog door is working great! I thought I was going to have to replace it, but the replacement parts fixed the problem. Thank you! The customer service was very good! The responded quickly and did everything they promised. I would happily deal with them again! I'm very disappointed in the quality of the door and flaps. The inside metal that telescopes started warping in rubbing on our dogs. We had to use screws to keep it in its place. The outside flap is already ripping. The screws on the outside flap do not hold well and the flap continually slips down making it harder for our dogs to use. I cannot find any replacement flaps or parts (except for an extra metal door) to purchase anywhere. Not even an Ellion company website. We are going to have to buy another brand of door and replace this one. It didn't even last a year.

Impressed by overall quality of this. Directions if you take time to absorb them are good. Check the tool list required, depending on your outside wall configuration you will need to adapt. I had vinyl siding, piece of cake. Particle board behind the siding. Step 5.4, I pushed the cardboard insert in A and stapled it to the particle board and used the guide holes for drilling instead of marking the holes and removing it. Less chance of mistake. I used a Ryobi multi tool to cut out both inside and outside openings. Worked better than a jig saw because not obstacles can get in its way like a jig saw and maneuvered well cutting the vinyl siding. Overall the install was fairly easy. My garage is well equipped with tools, fasteners etc. to make quick alterations/adjustments to satisfy unforeseen issues. I'm impressed with everything about this doggy door. Well packaged, good instructions, sturdy nicely finished frame. Good fit for the flaps/magnets. UPDATE: The Closing Plate fit well on he outside, sliding easily into the slots. Inside however, the Spring Lock was in the way of the slot on that side making it so the Closing plate would not slide down. After mulling over my options my options I decided to file/grind down the side of the Closing Plate, maybe 1/16th of an inch, and it solved the problem. The tacked on strip on the Plate did come off while grinding. Secured with glue. Back in business. clearance was achieved.

Bought this in March to have the builder install in the wall of our new home being built. Just moved into the home 6 weeks ago and both plastic bars behind the tops of the rubber flaps in the door that the screws screw into to hold the flaps in place are both broken already. I will have to modify both with metal spaces, washers and nuts to make work. Very poor design and cheap plastic quality that doesn't last at all.

We installed this in the wall of the mud room going outside so we didn't have to open the door for the dogs and they could come and go as they want to. It makes it so much easier on the dogs, and the seal doesn't let a lot of air in as the dogs are going through. The trim makes it look like it belongs there with the siding. Sit looks good and fits the smaller dogs perfectly. I think it's more secure than installing one in the door of the house
