This chair is perfect for our room. And I was completely surprised by how well it felt to sit in. Extremely great value. Perfect size and comfortable. I'm 5'7" and 175.

Very comfortable and beautiful chair. Love lounging on it all day. But setting it up is no fun. especially the fulcrum joint section. unnecessarily complex and poorly documented setup. Get a friend to help out

Purchased this as two items to replace an old sofa. The price was great, the seller communication is excellent. However, the assembly instructions could leave you a little confused. My advice, after following the instructions on the first one, is to change the steps a little as follows:1. turn the seat upside down, like a mountain. This way you see the two areas where you need to insert the screw coupling. It would make it easier and faster if you do this step first.2. the two arms have "right" and "left" designations. These correspond to how you sit in the chair.3. flip the chair to the "left" or "right" side to attach the corresponding arm. You may need to pull a little on the seat end to make the arm fit into the groove properly. Flip the chair to the other side and repeat.4. add the seat stem assembly.5. attach the stem assembly to the ottoman.6. enjoy your new chair combo. Please be warned as the chair will cause excessive napping :)

I am sad this chair was uber comfortable and I loved it but the set up and how it is attached to the frame is highly vulnerable to breaking. Seems like the chair was made for like a 100lb person not 170 like myself. What really stinks is I am 10 days outside the return window so now I am stuck with a broken chair that leans like a drunk person to one side! Dont buy save your money and get a more sturdy chair.

Easy to put together. I'm 6'2" and there is room above my head to spare when laying down the back. Great for RV, it's under 50 lbs.Update: I want to buy a 2nd one but price went from $113 to $192. 😞

Funny how they always beg me for a review almost before the shipment of whatever it is has arrived, and definitely before I have had much of a chance to actually use whatever it is. In this case, although it is not a totally negative review, I will be shocked if they print it. (And no you do not have permission to edit it.) Where to start...VERY poorly packaged for shipping and showed up in battered, partly open box on both top and bottom. Again, that is no surprise because the material inside was not properly packed or secured, the shipping box was too flimsy, and the quality of tape they used. That packing likely accounted for a couple of small slits in the fabric covering both the base of the ottoman and the base of the chair. Not at all confident in any kind of smooth return or exchange process, I mended them myself sufficiently from the back side that they are not obvious and will likely not get worse any time soon.Frankly, I think at least parts of my chair were from a previous open box return, but I can't prove it. I am not challenging it because of the hassles that would be involved. I will make this work. No guarantee a replacement or similar item would be better.The chair itself is comfortable, strong enough and steady for my use. It does support back, neck and head well. It is probably about as good as other similar chairs in this price range and in today's world of lowered standards. However, when reclining it is not the easiest to secure. The tightening or undoing the screw that supposedly stabilizes it in place isn't well designed. Assembly is not easy but not too horrible overall. Attaching the armrests is the toughest part, and lack of clear enough instructions does not help. And no, for me, paying someone from Amazon to assemble it would not have been worth the money for the value of the chair.
