I'm 5'4 and somewhere about 135-140 pounds. I carry more weight in my middle than my legs or hips. I bought the medium based on measurements and found the ruched waist too snug for comfort. I'm returning my medium to try a large instead. The hips weren't overly roomy, so I think I'll be good with the large. Will try to update! I bought these for an international flight hoping they'll be super comfy. EDIT : 5'4, 140lbs, size 6/8. I ordered a medium in the style without bows at the ankles. The waist was just too fitted for me for comfort, so I returned them for a large. I switched to the bows at the ankle style. What I didn't notice in photos, is that the ones with bows are only half ruched at the waist and the ones without have a fully ruched waist. Had I recognized that, I would have stuck with the original style, because going up one size was more like going up two with that variation. (see photos-- yellow is large, green is medium). The legs were too baggy now and I had ample room in the waist Ultimately, I'm returning both. The pants are soft and nice quality, but given what I just explained, neither fits. I bet a large in the bow-less ones would, but my trip is in 7 days and I don't want to order a third pair at this point. If you carry weight in your middle I'd say order your true size in the ones with bows, OR size up one in the ones without. They're cute pants, just not for my shape.

These high-waisted paperbag pants fit true to size with a flattering tie waist and slightly tapered leg. The warm brown color is accurate to the photos, and the lightweight, flowy fabric drapes nicely without feeling stiff. Comfortable enough for work or casual wear, they pair easily with blouses or tees.

Cute pants and very comfortable but I feel both the description and accompanying photo are inaccurate. Be aware that these are NOT cropped, I’m 5’8” and they fall just below my ankle.

Love these pants for work! I bought the blue haze. I’m 5’4”, 145lb, and medium fit like a glove. Although the waist is very detailed and looks cute with the right shirt tucked in, it also looks good with an untucked shirt over the top of it. The Pockets are nice and deep. The material is very stretchy but keeps its form; no sag at the end of the day. The only thing I wasn’t prepared for is that the material is ever so slightly shiny. Not something that would put me off though; i will be looking to buy more of these pants. 100% recommend.

Now that I have had these for a few months I have to say one they hold up great, no tearing or ware on them. I wear a size large I’m a bigger girl and they fit perfectly. They expand and are high waisted and I feel comfortable and confident at work in these especially when I’m walking around all day they don’t rub against my thighs or legs. This may be the first pair that doesn’t have a strange smell to them. The price is higher than most but I promise it’s so worth it!

I LOVE these pants!! I am 5’3 and about 139lbs (29in waist, 40in hips) and I ordered a Medium and they fit perfectly - especially petite ladies! The color is fabulous - I ordered Puce and it’s like a pink-mauve type color. Got compliments on them and they are perfect for wedding rehearsal, dinner, date, business trip etc. love them so them. May order another pair in a different color!!!!

This garment is a good fit, a good colour, but the fabric feels weird!
