This helmet is not world taekwondo approved. The pictures don’t show the backs of the helmet and when I got to the tournament I was told they are useless and unfortunately I had already reached past the return window here. Now I have helmets that I cannot use and had to buy new approved helmets. If you are looking for professional helmets do not buy these

These are really great, economically priced sparring headgear from JellyArch. Perfect for Tae Kwon Do, Karate or Kickboxing sparring and copied on the original Master Jhoon Rhee’s design from the early 1970’s, each ‘helmet’ is 3/4” thick EVA foam dipped in vinyl paint. They are designed with ventilation holes, double padded ear protectors and an elastic chin strap with a Velcro closure. These headgear are well made and, under normal use, should be very durable, not to mention the fact that these 2 together are less expensive for one headgear from one of the major competitors.

Thick dipped foam sparring helmets priced at 2 for what some charge for 1. They fit perfect based on ordering off the sizing chart. There is plenty of space for the ears to comfortable fit (at least mine). The velco strap at the bottom holds well. If you are looking for helmets of this style these are a great buy.
