Lip Idôle Squalane-12 Butterglow™ Hydrating Lip Balm – Instant Shine, 24H Hydration, and Buildable Color for Smooth & Moisturized Lips

I admit, I have a problem, I'm a lipstick junkie. I wear it daily and wear it proudly. But 35yrs of matte lipsticks/lipliner have really dried out my lips and this Lancome Lip Idole with Squalane has made all the difference. It also has a lovely sweet scent. So now I use only a lipliner to line and fill-in and then use a bit of this buttery goodness on top in the center of my lips. The shine is both gorgeous and hydrating, I just wish it wasn't so pricey!

This is smooth, creamy, minty, sheer and glossy. The color is buildable and it feels light and moisturizing. I’ll be ordering a few more colors.

I have a hard time finding the right lipstick color and what I mean by that is years of trying to find the right match. Naturally plum lips, olive skin with yellow undertones doesn't make it easy. The Tea Is Hot is a perfect warm rosy/brown for me (but it is neither too rosy nor too brown), sometimes rosy looks too pink on my lips, this doesn't. I hope Lancome never discontinues this butterglow color. It is hydrating, feels gorgeous on the lips and is my new favorite. It looks natural, not too dark and not too light, perfection.

Feels smooth on the lips and the color stays in place for a while unless you eat or drink. Goes on easily and cleanly, and I haven't had it bleed into my lip lines at all. Beautiful color, although it comes off even cooler in person than in the images. The tube itself is nicely weighted and clicks shut securely. The lipstick has a very soft scent but no offensive taste to it. Very pretty overall!

This was not only a beautiful color, but the way my lips feel when I am wearing this is wonderful. My lips feel moisturized and has a silky shine. Love this product.

I LOVE this Butterglow Lip Balm. It's buttery smooth, and has a faint scent that reminds me of cocoa butter. The shade-throwing beige color is a great neutral that blends well with a variety of lip pencils. The term lip balm can be misleading, as this provides a level of color and coverage somewhere between a balm and a lipstick. It makes my lips feel great, and wears a long time when combined with a lip pencil. I expect I will continue to use this product for a long time.

It doesn’t last very long and is sticky, but I like the color. When it arrived, the box and tube were covered in some kind of scented goo. Fortunately, none got inside the tube.
