Perfect wired bra, for no padding.
You can never go wrong with Wacoal. The fit is exact and true to size. If you wear a 36 C, order a 36C! This bra, for an underwire bra, is amazingly comfortable! I slept in it l, the first night. It covers perfectly with no spillage. The material is very thin, and breathable, as it is supposed to be, but very supportive. To feel your breast, while wearing, it is like touching a perfect breast with no clothing over it. Actually, just between us, my husband says he has never felt anything like that with any other bra, lol! I guess it’s a winner. I haven’t washed it but handwashing my bras anyway, then air dry. It should be fine.

Confused by bad reviews
I decided to purchase this bra despite the bad reviews because the features were what I was looking for. I liked the extra support band and the fact that it was made for pendulous breast tissue which unfortunately is me after nursing 5 kids over a 20 year span. That being said, I love this bra. I think it was made for my body. Excellent support and lift and it doesn’t put strain on my shoulders and neck even though I have large breasts. Am going to purchase two more! It’s well made and fits me very well. It’s not the prettiest bra but it’s functional. Very happy with this purchase Update: as time goes on the support dwindles a bit. The cups are too stretchy and I jiggle as I walk. I still wear them around the house, but when I go out I like a better support

comfortable and good quality
Very comfortable and supportive. These are the only bras I wear. Sizing is correct (they are underwire, so hand wash) good quality

LOVE THE BLACK
This bra fits & feels great. I am difficult to fit and can't seem to find a bra that works for my breast shape & size. I bought this bra in 42D and it fits beautifully. I hate the word "pendulous", but I wouldn't have clicked on this bra without that description. I thought it looked flimsy, but it's very supportive, especially on the sides. I bought the black and will buy the praline if it goes on sale. I encourage other women with pendulous (ick) shape to try it. All shapes are beautiful, but it's hard to feel beautiful when nothing fits! I feel beautiful in this bra. UPDATE: I ordered the Praline in the same size and was sooooo disappointed. The wires poked painfully & the top of the cup puckered in a weird way. I wear a lot of white & really wanted the Praline to work for me, even though it's super expensive. Definitely love the black one. Inconsistant sizing really sucks when you think you've found the perfect bra.

Doesn’t stay in place; wires hurt on brand new bra
The material is stretchy and comfortable but it doesn’t stay in place. Rides up. The underwire scrapes my skin as I put it on and as I wear it. Fabric over back hooks does not stay covered so it scratches my back as I move. Item is too expensive for these kinds of issues.

WORST bra I have EVER worn
First of all, let me describe myself. I'm 68, & have worn a 42DDD bra for most of my life. I've tried many brands, but had never tried Wacoal, & had always heard that it was a good brand. And this particular bra style claims to be for people with pendulous breasts - which mine, unfortunately, are at my age - so I was really looking forward to trying it! I've worn underwire bras for many years, & unlike many women, I find them comfortably supportive. So, I purchased the appropriate size (42DDD), & waited anxiously for it to arrive. Based on the price, reputation of the brand, & description of it, I hoped to use it as a bra for "dressy" occasions. When I first put it on, I did notice that the band did feel very slightly loose (maybe more like a 44), but I attributed that to it just being a brand/style that I was unfamiliar with, and also that I had hooked it only in the first set of hooks. I decided to wear it around the house for awhile to get used to it. Within only about 10minutes, I noticed that the side panels had completely rolled up, & they, along with the side stays, were digging uncomfortably into my underarms. Also, with only normal activity, my breasts were sliding down out of the cups (despite the underwire), so that more than half of each breast was hanging down UNDER the cups! I have NEVER had a bra do this. But I believed that the problem was something to do with my improper adjustments. I took the bra off & didn't put it on again for a few days, then decided to try it when I went out shopping. I readjusted the straps, & hooked it into the middle hooks. Well, it was exactly the same situation as the first time! I was walking thru the supermarket with my breasts sliding down out of the bra cups. Incredibly embarrassing (tho thank God I had a jacket on). I finally had to hurry to the ladies room to get everything back into the proper position - but within a few minutes, I could feel my breasts sliding out of place yet again. I couldn't get home soon enough to rip the damn thing off! I immediately threw it in the trash, & didn't even bother trying to return it (since I'd worn it twice, & washed it - per manufacturers instructions!). This was, by my standards at least, a fairly expensive bra ($70-something), & evidently a trusted name in womens foundation garments. But I will NEVER recommend this brand to anyone!! I did give it one star because the material seems nice & comfortable, & of good quality.

Good bra to order
It’s hard to find a decent bra on line. This brand was surprisingly good fit. Nice design with good coverage

Weird fit.
I love Wacoal bras, and have worn them for years. I ordered this in my normal size, and the fit was really off. It was too big around the band, and the cups fit awkwardly. Not sure why the fit was so strange. I do have pendulous breasts, but this was not the bra for me. Back to the Retro Chic.
