Bali Blinds 6 Mil Roller Shade, 37 1/4x72", Scroll White

The shade itself should get a 4, love the color and the texture of this product BUT the sizing part gave me a run for my money. It tells you to measure width, then clip the bottom start point and slowly tear to size. BUT it does NOT tear straight. So by time you get to the top it ends up being to wide so you need to devise a new way to get it to fit, So my solution is to unroll. slowly unglue the pin end, clip and fit at that point then SLOWLY tear down. I've used this type of product many, many times but by far this one was the most difficult to install. Beware and have LOTS pf patience's..

These shades are pretty with the scroll pattern on them. They aren't exactly what I consider room darkening, but they're ok. They certainly are not "black out shades".They are vinyl, and NOT like the old fashion vinyl shades were! The new vinyl is thin and the quality just isn't there anymore. (I have a roller shade on a door in my house that was on that door when we moved here . . 28 yrs ago! So I don't know how old it actually is. But it still works, and looks, just fine!) If you take it easy on these, I think they'll last quite awhile. I've looked high and low, and for the price, I haven't been able to find any better.I would recommend these as a relatively temporary solution to inexpensive window coverings.

These are great and look really good. I didn't have to change the width. I could have to use them inside the window but decided to just go with them outside the window. They were easy to hang, took about 15 minutes for each but I did use a drill to put the hangers in.The first one I put up would not retract but I went online and watched a you tube video on this problem. Turns out you can take it down, unroll it, roll it back up and put it up again. That completely fixed my tension problem. They look expensive and after doing some serious looking this was a really cheap way to dress the windows up without spending a fortune. I'm going to buy more. Perfect for my guest room. One of my better purchases lately. We had new windows put in and the 2" blinds no longer fit. I've searched for a good option. Glad I stumbled across these.

We are so very pleased with this roller shade. For those interested in aesthetic value, it is definitely not luxurious. On the other hand it's not flimsy or trashy. It's functional. Blocks out light nicely. If there is way to much heat or cold we add a small panel of reflectix behind it. It is sturdy enough to support it. It is the perfect window shade for our Class A Bounder RV kitchen window. It rolls up and down nicely. The color is subtle enough. Since it is mounted behind our board valance, it is out of sight when rolled up. Can't beat the price. Sure is better than the shaky metallic blinds that came with our RV. Our RV ( Class A Fleetwood Bounder) is our forever home. It's classy, yet not super luxurious. In other words it is not a 1/2,mill $ RV. We certainly did not want to spend super big bucks. This Bali window shade is the perfect fit for us. It all depends on your needs, your budget and your tastes.

These are horrible! We bought 3 of these, and followed the instructions to the letter, which made for a tedious frustrating task. The 3 windows are identical in size and shape so we were really frustrated that 1 wouldn't roll up all the way, 1 was slanted to one side, and 1 would snap open with even the slightest touch - even knocking itself off the wall!Also, this lovely design (which made us pick this over the plain white shades) is ONLY ON ONE SIDE, and it is the side facing IN. The whole point of us getting blinds was to block the light while still looking pretty from the outside. We have curtains over them inside - why would be need a design there?In the end we threw them away (they weren't even donate-able) and splurged on Roman Blinds, which we wanted originally but didn't want to pay so much. BIG MISTAKE trying to save money by buying these - ended up costing us way more time and money.

Whew! What a challenge to size this! I ended up using my quilting supplies; rotary cutter, foam pad, stabilizer, to cut the edge evenly. Took 3 tries. Accurate measurement is necessary, for sure. I accept that one. But the material tears at an angle and is difficult to keep straight.

These are nice inexpensive shades. They are minimally room darkening. Provides a mid-level light filter to the room. It is nice that there is a light printed pattern on them. Looks better than the plain white shades that we did have. Met my expectations for an inexpensive alternative for a window shade.

Excellent material, love dedign for my shower window. Just what I wanted. Love it, only reason not giving it 5 stars is because it was a little difficult cutting to fit my window size. We were very careful, but because of the cut the edge is slightly jagged... good for the price. Would order again.
