This is the most perfect tool. I don’t know how I got along without it. It eliminates the need to literally thread the needle by doing that for me. I use them a lot and appreciate the value in both the cost and the convenience. The flexibility of the metal makes things easy when your bead has a curve in the hole. It navigates through with no problem. Just what I never knew I needed.

This is a great product when you have a bead that has a very small hole such as seed pearls

Just in case anyone is confused, this isn’t for sewing, it’s not strong enough. It’s thin & flexible. I use to it pull knotting cord, elastic cord, or thin chain through a bead or beads. It’s much easier & efficient than using a needle to push the cord or chain through and doesn’t bunch up and get stuck inside the bead as a regular needle would do. Since this needle has a “big eye” you can easily put the cord in it without having to spend so much time trying to thread it. And since it’s flexible and thin, it makes it so much easier to push it through the bead especially a curved bead or natural bead that may not be drilled perfectly straight. The head will rip open if you tug a bit too hard and with use so expect to go through them fairly often. I always try to keep an extra package on hand for this reason. I don’t want to even try try to bead without them!

These work very well when you want to use a needle to thread through bead holes that are the size of your stringing material. The needle head collapses and you will be able to get the stringing material through with minimal difficulty. When you thread the needle you only allow a small amount of thread through so that you can get the doubled thread through. As I threaded the beads, I left one or more beads covering the doubled thread so that the thread did not fall out of the needle. The only difficulty I had was when I was not careful to keep the needle head open because it was a pain trying to pry the collapsible head apart. I quickly learned to open the head of the needle right after using with an open paper clip. You just need something small to insert into the opening and stretch it out a little before putting it away. They are a little long so you'll need to put your fingers closer to the tip to pick up beads off a mat because they are very flexible. You can then thread more beads onto the needle before you slide them onto your string. Works excellent with stretch string!

Works wonderful for stringing beads for crotchet beading . Very sturdy but flexible. This brand is all I use.

It’s thin and gets the job done. It’s not as sturdy as other beading needles I’ve used. Normally it’s easy to use but the smaller the hole the more difficult it is to use as the thread slips out and gets frayed and then the eye of the needle is hard to open again. For what it’s worth it’s a decent price.

Clever and useful items for beading and other crafts. Very helpful if your thread breaks at a crucial point and you have to re-thread.
