This looked like the set I was looking for, and the reviews were positive. On arrival, the set appeared well packaged, with several smaller boxes inside one containing the entire set, protected with cardboard padding and inserts. I opened one box that contained the two sizes of plates and unfortunately, two were broken. The ones that weren't broken looked good - a nice finish, great colour and a weighty, quality feel. I contacted Amazon for help regarding the broken plates, they referred me to the manufacturer's/seller's website. I sent a message from there asking if they would be able to replace the broken items and any others that I might find when when opening the other packages. Two days later and no response from the manufacturer/seller, Amazon emailed for feedback, which prompted me to return these items. If these items were not broken on arrival, I think they would have made a great set, and I'm disappointed the manufacturer/seller didn't respond (I also ordered a set of matching mugs, when they arrive they'll also have to go back as I won't have a dinner set to match them to). Update: vancasso got in touch directly and were very apologetic, so much so they offered me a replacement set at no cost. It arrived today (25.2.26), it was packaged differently with more protective layers between the plates, and importantly nothing was broken. So now we have a set that is of great quality, it has a lovely finish, and feels good when handled. I didn’t send the matching mugs back as they looked great and now match the dinner set. Rating amended from two to five stars, based on the quality of the dinner set and the customer service.

My set of 6 dinner plates arrived extremely well packaged, so after a quick rinse they were ready to use. I was attracted by the design and colour of the plates, and they didn't disappoint. The lightweight to handle, and so far completely chip proof plates. They have a lovely rim around them; yes I know that dinner plates are never flat, but this is a more defined rim, less likely to get spills, hopefully. Plenty of room for a full meal, as you can see from my photo; just waiting for the new potatoes to be added, to our chicken salad dinner. The high glaze and the night sky design are really lovely, and feels good, and they can be safely put in the microwave without damaging them, with any debris left on the plate just rinses off without scrubbing. I would certainly consider buying again, perhaps as a gift, or to add to my collection; well worth the price, delighted.

I’m really pleased with this 18-piece dinner set. The plates and bowls are a lovely size and the quality is excellent. They feel strong and durable without being too heavy, and they’ve held up really well in the dishwasher with no chips or fading. One of my favourite things about this set is that it’s oven-proof. I love making things like onion soup and other baked dishes straight in the bowls. They handle the heat really well and it saves on washing up too. What I usually do is place the hot bowl on the matching side plate when I take it out of the oven, just to avoid any burns or heat marks on the table—works perfectly. The whole set looks lovely on the table, whether it’s just a normal day or something a bit more special. I’m really happy with the quality and would definitely buy again. Strong, practical, and very good value for the price.

Great pasta bowls to add to the rest of my vancasso starry night set! Great quality, can dish-wash and a good size. Lovely colour and pattern that looks great! I have this complete set and love it, it is always a talking point when we have guests for dinner.

The pictures don't do this stunning collection justice. I was thrilled when I opened the box. They look so regal. They are a good size and the glaze is spectacular.

The dinner set is really nice. Lovely colour and looks sturdy. My one disappointment is that the dishes dont stack. I looked particularly at the pictures and videos because I was aware of my minimal cupboard space and now in a dilemma about whether to suck it and see or to return!!

Fed up with my mismatched chipped crockery, I saw this offer on Black Friday. I am so pleased with the quality, colour and style at an affordable price. Don’t often succumb to sales but I am happy I chose to go with being spontaneous just this once!
